  1. Lol did you honestly miss that?
  2. Take the intake manifold off to do starter. Way easier to get at it, and it doesn't take long to remove it either surprisingly.
  3. Whats with everyone parting out e30's? it's ridiculous considering the car is fine, get a m20 or m40 back in there and sell of the m5x swap stuff. Reliable DD > bragging rights. You will be kicking yourself if you keep dumping all your money into it.
  4. Nah i just did the engine bay cos I wanted to smooth it out. A guy I knew did all the panel and prep for $900 then it was $600 to be sprayed by a paintshop in a booth. Would have done the prep myself but didn't have time, If you can do the prep yourself then you will save a crapload.
  5. sportmax's are cheap as f*** on Ebay. 16x8, 0 offset. 3" of dish too
  6. Cosmetic? They actually can improve performance if setup properly. Not just slapped on the front intake pipe like most people do these days.
  7. 325i sways and save the rest $$ to get your m52 running... Im using 440/650 spring rates and 325 sways. Tis good for road driving and handles awesome.
  8. Not a fan of e36's, But F*ck me that is SICK

Whats the go with the roof?
  10. Wheels would look a whole lot better with smaller tyres IMO. Otherwise looks good dude.
  11. gripforce.com i got the f1 racing stage 3 clutch rated up to like 568nm of torque. It's a 6puk ceramic clutch and a heavy duty plate. Cost about $561 NZDshipped to my door, Using it with my m50 now, It's pretty good, pedal aint that heavy and it has a good bite.
  12. Unless you have a cold air intake setup with a shield from the engines heat, its a waste of time and if anything will lose power.. google it and you will see. people see 2-3hp drops with the pod over vs stock air box.
  13. Not really.. Ended up around $1500 for this : Are a couple imperfections, but if you saw the body work prior its damn straight as hell now. And that was inside / out engine bay and all.
  14. Prepsol is pretty good. Is it warped in any way? It doesn't look too bad, Just needs something behind it to pull it back into line then just sand down and fill off the front side. Save yourself some $$
  15. http://oldmary.lqhome.com/~jordansarette/c...&fullsize=1 BTW that is what you will need to do TO your car to fit the upper clips for the sideskirts.
  16. Bumpers and side trim are all relatively the same. The clips along the middle are smaller than the normal black side trim though and the holes in the door to accept the clips have plastic bits which allow them to clip in. You will have to pull those off and swap to your car so the side pods can clip on. I think the only problem you will run into is the clips for the sideskirts, the clips are held in holes with a dowel in the middle. So once you pull all the upper clip mounts for the sideskirts, there will be a bunch of holes along the side of the car on that edge above the sill.
  17. Have a look on e30tech.com in the turbo section. All the info you'll need, heaps of guys on there running boosted e30's and alot with stock internals just ARP headstuds and O-ring / MLS headgaket.
  18. Someone suss out the group buys for these all please.

  20. I had mine done by a guy who works for himself.. Roughly 1.5k for a full repsray inside and out, engine bay , door jams etc all panel and prep'd, was heaps of dents especially in the roof..
