  1. Wasn't meaning I was actually going to. Bu lack of advice or anyone knowing WTF is going on = gotta start somewhere.
  2. NOOB when it comes to M50's have had a search around and can't find anything useful. Basically motor runs. The idle is Veery high, sits between 1500rpm + going up then cutting off and droping down again then back up to around 2200rpm. After leaving it a while it will shoot up over 3000rpm. What I have done so far is replace the hose from FPR to the intake manifold. Change vacuum hose from PCV oil breather to intake manifold. There aren't any other small type vacuum hoses I can see, so other than that looks like the only ones are brake booster and ICV hoses, PCV etc. Fuel evap line is blocked off. Have tryed running it with the brake booster line blocked off, Made no difference. I'm about ready to pull the intake manifold off and replace every damn seal / gasket and hose.     It's pretty loud... And it's got some issues.. It's revving up to 2500rpm then dropping down to 1500rpm then back up and down.. I have replace the FPR vacuum hose, replaced the other vacuum hose that goes into the side of where the ICV feeds into on the intake manifold underside.. Is there anywhere else I should be looking? If I leave it abit it starts revving itself out 3000rpm + WTF

    Nup, these are 16x9 all round not staggered. Yep i'll try post a vid of it. I'm thinking 2.5" with a single resonator is going to be quite loud.. But I hope not.

    Lock bolts

    Where do people buy some lock bolts for e30 wheels? Had a quick look on trademe and there are only locknuts.. no lugs. Also size of them if it matters.. like thread pitch etc, would be chur if someone could point me in the right direction.

    It will probably be in there til Saturday cos he was pretty busy. it's royal blue metallic, i remember your 5er, looked either the same or similar colour from pics.

    Nah nah, just towed it down to the exhaust shop to have the exhaust fitted up the m50's manifolds. Was just sitting out front all day bonnet up lol. License in 33 days

    Cheers guys, it's 1st day out in public seems alot of people have noticed it haha I wouldn't have thought those skid plates are as tough as others being mounted to just that front radiator support? Also if you go back through pics you will see on my e30 that front bit where that skid plate bolts to wouldn't work as mine is completely bent upwards!
  12. I'm guessing it's for a rotary van ? lol Just tell them what it's meant to mean and they shouldn't have an issue. Nothing dodgy came to my mind til I read the posts above, Only thing that came to my mind was VANKEL that this guy has on his 13BT econovan.

    TBH I wasn't even thinking of one till I nab'd the one I have now for $25 off of trademe, thought why the heck not could save me some drama. I reckon if I chopped the side mount arms and extended them about 15mm each side it would fit, then just a matter of hooking up the mounting points somehow or just weld the f*cker on

    Yup, Got a set of g-zeros widened out they look phat cuz. Too much chrome to take pics of the face, so sadly will have to see at the hamilton meet Those photos make the paint look 1000x waaaay better than it is. See it in the flesh and you will know what I mean lol. And F*ck the skidplate has no chance of fitting under the m50 sump without some mean mods. Don't know how I would mount it either... Anyone ever retrofitted a factory skidplate to a non SA car? Also front is as high as they will go - Rear is as low as it will go. Unless I yank the adjuster out it'd go about another 10-20mm lower in the rear.

    Haha nah it was allgood man, your e30 def has alot of kick in it! I pused it outside today. It's all done other than a vacuum hose that needs changing, then off tomorrow for the exhaust. Also need to adjust the stance but on the highest I can put it up front I can only fit 4 fingers between oil sump and the ground! Started to take pics and the camera died so more tomorrow ...

    Yep, if I get the shocks sorted tomorrow I'll have the exhaust sorted on Tuesday / weds. Take it for the fail WOF on thursday then sort out the cert from there, hopefuly won't be like last time where I had the hugest list ever due to crap suspension lol. But I fixed everything that time, so technically everything I failed for last time has been fixed so unless something new needs to be sorted with this conversion, it should be sorted and legal within the next couple weeks, which means up will see you guys at the Hamilton meet

    Reunited with my 3.64LSD today thanks to Mark (1rotty) absolute legend!! Wasn't gonna put it back in today but had the time so bleh.. Diff is in. e30 manual driveshaft fits up perfectly to the getrag 220 box. Mint. Also chopped the end of the exhaust that went up the firewall where the old turbo dump pipe fitted, so now its cut just by the gearbox to have the bottom of the m50 manifolds matched up to it. And I double checked everything works, all lights and everything are working sweet as. Rear shocks should be shortened tomorrow, then that leaves it to just having the exhaust joined up then w000t m50 wut.

    Yeah king spring superlows are the same as other brand lows.. like 40mm drop.. Most other superlows are 60mm drop and pretty low.
