Perhaps go into a dealer and ask if anyone might be trading one in, or might consider selling- they always go in for repairs

Hey i second you on that one jazzbass, i basically have completely surgically created and reshaped and tendoned and boned feet, because i was born handicapped. With the seat adjustments i reqiure for a manual, a long drive really hurts my back a lot, so im in your 'camp' so to speak.... (dont laugh sam haha) I am happy with the economy i get from my auto, and yes i too conform to speed limits. Nevertheless i am not shopping for a gearbox, i am shopping for a good engine and nice car nathan

Yes and dealer f**kups do happen, a mechanic wrote off an m coupe once on a corner, so i think that counts as well.... the wheel thing was the tyre shops fault and must have just been looked past back at JC- could have been done at shore performance (who are f**king AMAZING, they machined new locator rings for my 17's for free and the rest) or Beaurepaires- but only KK sends cars to Beau'. Sometimes cusomers keys would be lost for a day and they couldnt take their car home! But general opinion is that JC is way better than Team's

Its a cheap fix if you can do alternators yourself- probably under 100 for parts, or you can get it done with new bearings etc as well and a clean for under 400
-
Its your alternator dude. Get it seen to, or your engine may stop on you on the harbour bridge like mine did!

hmmm you are right, on second thoughts the one by vector MAY be silver- but it is a tinted m kitted 528i with similar rims
-
LOVE the interior, and a really nice car as well! is this the one that was always parked by the Vector arena?
-
Oh yeah i shoulkd add the reason for this- I have NO income of my own, its my mother who will buy me the car just to see me out of the merc, hence the fuel issues
-
AWESOME car! i love! Is this car a high spec one, or is it a 3.8 and were 3.6L cars the ones with chrome trim and turbine wheels....?
-
Yeah ive gotta say the guys at the mount are pretty f**king useless by reputation, and gave us sh*t all help a few months back when we were looking for a brand new bmw, of which they had the perfect model in stock. Take it to jerry's, i have no end of good things to say about them- and yes it is because i worked there- so i know that they are genuinely nice!

Nice car! oh gosh i do love a nice 316.... search for my identical one on here if you are considering bottlecaps at all....

Well hello all, I drive an auto mercedes 230e 1990 and am looking to sell it and buy another car. well really just buy another car! I know most that there is to know about ALL the models features, handling and price, but id like some fuel consumption advice.... IMO the merc has sportscar handling compared to a f**king standard e30, so i dont realy want an e30, and i dont want to shop for too long either ... what are your fuel stories with: e36 318i auto e36 318is auto e36 325i manual nathan

great car! ive had 2 316i's and loved them both! did they reeeealy have 1.8? im quite sure that they were a 1.6L

Which BMWs have you test-driven and not liked? Why?
nath replied to Jazzbass's topic in General Discussion
really only the Z3 1.9- 2.2 models, and maybe the lower powered 3 series models, although they arent without their charm -
Beware of the mangumukas- if you see the fawn hitchhiking on the side of the road, pick him up and take him to where he wants to go, otherwise you will crash and die.
-
i'd say choose between the tutukaka coast and mangawhai heads runs, they are very similar and are really out of the way..... but pizza at waipu is a must.

Heading north, the back way to russell, out to tapeka pt, ferry to opua, paihia- kerikeri, kerikeri to matauri bay (matauri bay hill!!!) up the coast road and back in at whangaroa, up to mangonui for fesh and cheps, up to either of those 2 beaches.... what are they called g? rarawa beach is one i think. then over and up to the te paki stream to the dunes (park cars at end of road and on foot up the dunes (for people that havent been there its amazing- star-wars style. from there could go to the cape, but really there isnt tooo much to be seen for the long drive (hang on, once at the stream i think the cape is close anyway) or could go straight back down to waipapakauri or ahipara(bottom of 90 mile) then do some sort of west coast thing which i havent a clue about (there be dragons) here is a bad map

With an E30, the chassis number brings up on the computer the fact that it is a 4 or 6cyl E30 between the years xxxx and xxxx. The computer screen then shows a whole lot of badly scanned in black and white line drawings of different parts for an e30, with the pages roughly sorted into areas such as engine, trim etc The part is then identified visually or with a part number(not always there) and the number is put into a seperate system which brings up a price. There are obviously better systems in place for newer models

amen to that! i have a thing for large cars- im slowly convincing my old man that a big car is fine for me..... so far ive made it to an e- class, next step lwb 7 series
-
HMMMMMMMMMMM well im greedy and i want to name 2 E38 750iL E46 330ci (auto or manual) coupe or convertible
