You wont find a better one than kiwi535s, kiwi6539 (thats confusing). But there a few others lined up to get it haha. e34s must be the best value bmw on the market right now.

When you get your rack reconditioned they pull it a part and rebuild it using the good bits from other racks. It can cost anywhere between $650 to $1100 I am told, depending on how much stuff needs replacing.

I might also add that the blog is a bit weird. There is a cluster of overlapping things up the top left and the text is grey on black background which makes it impossible to read.

Yes quite often you have old gheezers or change of career mechanics clearing out the garage and you can pick up a bunch of good sh*t for super cheap. Stahlwille, koken, snap on etc is all there. Don't forget you can get tools with fly buys too

repco will charge about that for the individual tool. You should have hit up trademe. There are loads of tools on there. I wish id known sooner

Id be keen for a weigh-off sometime. Yes I have all my orig documentation I'l check that. I remember reading it and seeing a manual 318i is only like a sec slower to 100 than a 325 auto lulz.

There are 2 things I want to clear up re the difference between pfl and fl E30s. 1. Someone once told me fl e30s are about 100kgs heavier that pfls due to revised door construction or something along those lines. I had never been told that before and haven't heard it since. Is that bullsh!t? 2. Is it true that fls had better rust proofing? Please don't give me hearsay. Post evidence Cheers

m20b20 is not very popular to work on. You need more CCs. Put a m20b25 in maybe or, even better, a m50/m52. Much better power:money ratio. Or, build a 2.7/2.8/2.9/3.0/3.1 from your m20 and some parts from another m20. click me Lots of guides on all of the above on the usual sites. Best of luck!
