this is true.....werd. air filters are the easiest to replace, esp on bmws, just flip the clips, take the lidd off, and replace if, no tools required!! unless you're me, I'm a tool

that sorta sh*t used to happen to me... 16 year old with a series 4 gt-r rx7...... back then they were still f**kin expensive, everyone wanted one hah, the virtues of school "children"..... go the red leather I say.... pimps more than tommy's luxorbeige  :mosh: :thumb: :jap:

pfft, bmws are common as now, not many see them as "status symbols" anymore, Every time I've been in one I dont see that happening...... gonna cut you off if I see ya

Okay, so I did the finger walking and rang SKF, they said the price on that part number was $220!!!I then did some quick talking and said I was quoted $144.16 and they sold me it for that...excluding the gst, bargain!!! I just hope it's the right bearing because she said there's two different front wheel bearing part numbers for E30s... hah, shoulda said you were quoted a hundy.... I know that they can run a 60% plus discount structure....

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloa...ppowertoys.mspx scroll down the page, on the right there's a list, get "image resizer", down load it, install it, then when in ur folder with the pics you want to resize, right click on them, should come up "resize pictures" on the menu thingy somewhere, go into that, resize as required, it will make a resized copy of the file, use that...... good program, i use it heaps....

I dont think it's warrantable to have a p/s rack unhooked, that's probably the reason, so he can get through certs and sh*t.... I think without hydraulic pressure, some racks have a pit of play in them which would hold you back too...

resetting service indicator is easy as me.... even i can do it. I found a method of doing it by searching "reset service indicator" on here.... i know on the old type diagnostic connector you ground pin 7 for 3 seconds for and oil change, and 9 seconds for an "inspection" i think..... cant quitre remember.. search it up - easy to do, f**k paying for a service at mega con stealers just to get that sh*t sorted cher

repco retail is arse though it's fair to say.... I've always had a better run with ngks than bosch... so that's where my vote goes.... holla at trade discount or something, dunno how they price out if it's a special plug, standard ones shouldnt be more than a couple of bucks plus gst with a good discount...
-
this is true.....  haha
-
NGK=bestest...... IMO, same as bosch, if not better and more widely stocked it seems champion are definitely arse use NGK zgr5a, never heard that number when it some to plugs before myself, ever, but yeah, appco stock them and thats the number they come up with too.... bored at work... woot

more fuel wont do sh*t, unless theres more air gettin in.... just gotta have the mixture set corrrectly.... porting&polishing costs vary, basically a head gasket job ($1000ish at most places, give or take) plus whatever they wanna charge you for the porting work.... some charge by the hour, some do it at fixed cost, fixed cost rules, some guys can end up spending 6-8 hours on the die grinder to get a really awesome job done... but you've gotta find somebody decent at it.. reckon theres not alot of merit in p&p unless you do a cam as well, sure there''s some, but while the head's completely dismantled there's the perfect chance to get your cam reground to a "better" spec, ecu upgrades would be chur too - moving vane afm = :gay: make sure if you do any head mods that the garage actually adjusts the mixtures up to suit, sparkle's mechanic hadn't had time to check that (car finished right when he really needed it) and it was quite a bit out (lean) sounded mean as though, lump as f**k idle etc...

awesome man, nice compact :mosh:

pfft, wash your mouth out!!!!!!! looks like a praking towaway, the non "jap crap" american towtruck has bitten it hard and needs a tow tho... jap= :thumb:

when I was ready to order for my ae86 4agte (flood damned it) they were roughly the same, give or take a couple of hundred....Lots of opinions I got said go for the microtech, auto electricians I spoke with didn't rave about link build quality, plus the microtech is better tech wise, and ya can have a primo as digital dash module thing=p.i.m.p with the cars I own right now, 2g would go on something like sounds or some 17s on the van, maybe a vr4 turbo :mosh: mad diesel styles laurel-would get a manual convert, and probably well on the way to be running an rb20det... then again, tryin to sell it :jap:
