pretty much dito. DittoI had two chips, both didn't seem to work very well so sent them back with dyno print outs for a retune, that was December and I still haven't had anything back. An easier option than Link is unichip, $1500 for installation and dyno tune, is what alot of the guys overseas have done and the flipside of the unichip is you can run a MAF instead of the AFM. Perhaps not as great as the Link but certainly a more simplem cheaper, and less fiddly solution.

Tips, download the 84.25 nvdia driver and install the nforce cooltips as it lets you fiddle with the hidden settings where you can increase the frame rate and free up the slow as mouse movement in the menu by setting maxFramesToRenderAhead to 0 If you've got a HT intel chip or dual core AMD chip then edit the .ini file in the saves directory and set the iThreads & iOpenMPLevel values to 10 or more. Doing these to settings changes made the biggest improvement and lets me max out the visual distances and lighting effects.

Dah, of course the needle is going to constantly move, who's fuel usage is constant???Averaging is the only way to calculate mpg and as far as averages concern mine is very accurate and it is quite sensitive too as it makes for a wee bit of fun tailgating buses and trucks to get the highest mpg reading as possible from the draft. Also, where does it say it's vacuum related?

My fuel useage meter is quite accurate, I wouldn't call it a gimmick by any means.

While the diff is usually the cause of whines, as stated above, the changing of gear changing the pitch and tone would suggest it the box.
