Had a similar problem with my e46. Was a flat battery, that is the alarm warning when head lights flash on and off. reset it with alarm remote when battery fully charged. You may have a dud battery or poor connection at body or in side terminals

I totally agree with you Glenn. Manners cost nothing! I am a bit too far away from you to use you services, but respect the fact that you have supported this forum out of your own pocket. I hope the locals that are causing the frustration read and act on the comments you have made. I don't believe that we should "name and shame" them, that will only cause ill feeling and more embarrassment to the forum members that would not treat you in this manner. Keep up the help and good attitude

Unfortunatly its a fact, and a law. I dont agree with it, in fact i have had the same discussion with the long arm of the law about it, But try talking sence to them! I use my fogs in the day time as a warning on the open road, makes the car a bit more noticable! Fight it with them, Making the car easy to be seen in the rain!

Sounds like either the Control in the drivers foot well, or adjust ment of the micro switch in the drivers door, has effect if not in the right place. Also if the arm on the key barrell ( inside the door ) is broken it will not activate properly, have just fixed 1 car with this problem in the last 3 weeks.

sounds like the rad hose at the front by the chassis rail. It could be spraying into the body work!

It is David Blackmore, well known round wellie, has some real nice cars! AND NOT SCARED TO SPEND ON THEM!!

Should be 1 bolt through the center, Not sure if its torx or normal hex head. If you have the Motronic motor, after removing the Dizzy cap ( 3 small screws ) and the rotor ( 3 small cap screws ) it should be simple undo the bolt, and remove the washer and locating pin If its the early motor, two screws to removre the alloy bolck, then the bolt in the center, washer pin etc.

my idea for a supercharger...

Been thinking about this as well, been told that the clutch on the SC14 will not handle the on/off if using the TPS. Been done before and failed. I think the SC14 is the way to go! Keep us up with how you go! -
Bearing in mind that no spacers are legal! Adapters that are bolted on to the hub, then wheels bolted to them are ok

As i understand it no. Combustion in 2.0lt is in the cylinder head. 2.5 is in piston, you would end up with a VERY low comp motor
