I've listed 3 cars recently = $117 pwnt
-
^Poop, well, guess I won't be bidding on it at all lol. He's also selling a riced up M3 Evo!
-
Out of interest, what plans do you have for brakes?
-
Lookin good. Glad to hear you're both alive after stacking the evo!
-
What pads do they use? And are you sure they take the specified rotor?
-
The auto 5 speed isn't bad at all. It tries to behave like a manual (holds gears, engine brakes when appropriate, etc) But I agree with wayney, I think it's definitely more of a cruiser. Hybrid/Josh on here takes his steptronic 330i on track, so it can't be all bad right? Dirty old pic up, weather still sucks.
-
Looks choice, needs moar shadowlining though
-
So she'd be happier if you swapped it with a e46 328i sedan right? Safe car for kids, etc Just kidding, car looks good! Should sell quickly with FSH + nz new
-
I like it. Not sure about the compromises taken just to fit the wheels though. Would be even more impressed if they raised all the suspension pickups instead of chopping off the struts. That car with M Contours + factory camber and max castor would be choice.

Why aren't you at the workshop? Stop wasting time on Bimmersport.
-
Righto, thanks for finding out.
-
My head is lower than the top of the with screen...but there isn't anything behind the driver..and most msnz events require at least a roll hoop behind the driver. Mx5's do have dubious rollover safety by the looks of things..

Any updates on the open top car rules?
-
Oh the joys of DAQ engineering - what's amazing these days is the "track" data for the test rig is just a replay of the DAQ from a driven lap. (Yeah, I find geeky sh*t amazing)
-
90 Days, I'm with ASB, not sure about other banks
-
Update: Got my money back from ASB - on condition their investigation doesn't bring up any further complications. Thanks again for the help guys.

Just wondering if an open top car (MX5) is going to be an issue? Do I need MSNZ roll protection? How much is it to be a club member? Cheers
-
I wonder if HPC would do 'em?

Perhaps check the wear patterns on the tyres? Is there perishing at all? Maybe get a durometer on them? (Any half decent Tyre shop will have one) I think e36's have semi trailing rears - worn components could lead to excessive camber, contact patch or toe change = sudden increase in yaw moment (aka snap oversteer). Incorrect/worn damping could contribute to the problem, and coupled with poo tyres could explain the car's behaviour especially with reduced grip conditions. I'd start by checking out/buying new tyres. If you want more boring explanation why - I'll happy put in my 2 pence worth LOL. Hope that helps
-
Just to be boring, I'm gonna ask: -Tyre pressures correct? -Alignment correct? -Shocks in decent shape? (bump test doesn't tell you very much) -3 year old poo Firestones probably aren't going to be the most predictive thing in the world -Is the car modified? -Are bushes all in good order?
-
Do they come with tyres? If so what size? Cheers.
-
Can do, PM me details.
-
I'd rock the first set of wheels, in Matt Black + Lime green pinstripe + No centre cap. Someone do it?

Rolling shell have struts/springs in it? How much work has been done for Rb motor? Or is a M20B25 gonna be able to be bolted back in? Got driveshaft/diff? Chur
