  1. Have had the Google Nexus one for a while now. Chose it over the desire, n900 and 3GS.
  2. I'm flat out till the end of June...so it kinda rules out TV for now. I've applied for a reverse charge on my credit card with ASB. So I'm not allowed to pursue the matter until ASB finish investigating it. Hopefully, they get my money back... Cheers for the help fella's, will keep this thread updated.
  3. Budget? I'm thinking of parting mine out.
  4. Yeah will be investigating TV...but my utter lack of free time is really preventing me from doing that right now. Thanks heaps for having a look dude. Will give you a PM shortly Will contact them regarding fees soon. I definitely should'a known better...just thought: Kiwi Company + don't like Apple NZ = dirty deeds on the cheap.
  5. Thanks heaps for the help guys. Tried 018 - just lead to dead ends, numbers that have either been disconnected or various wrong numbers. Brian and Lina Issakson so longer exist in the directory even if they were earlier this year. Government search gave me their address 17a Kaikorai Valley Road, Kaikorai Dunedin 9010 - which apparently didn't match up to either name. Got someone saying it was a bar? Reached a voicemail for "D'Fawlts?" (sp?)Poop. I too received this email. But didn't get the refund
  6. I'm in Auckland, they're in Dunedin. I do 90hr weeks. So no, $749 isn't worth the time or travel expense.
  7. Couldn't find anything on how to manufacture them, I tried making one with a small cutter on the mill and angles with a set bandsaw - but it didn't turn out so good
  8. Would be interested in pricing - I was planning on making my own before I decided to sell up. I priced up $138 in materials (retail). Was struggling to figure out the weird spacers though - which would probably be best if water/laser cut.

    Project M325i

The headers sent me from the top of fourth into fifth at Hampton Downs - they're awesome. The car looks even more awesome dirty
  10. Hi all, Some of you may remember this thread? Well, against better judgement I paid for an iPhone 3GS which never came. I ordered soon after Brett (3 SERIES) did, and he received his refund two weeks ago - but nothing from my end. Long story short - after many promises on their part - they still owe me NZ$749. Now their phone lines have been disconnected and it seems as though they have pulled a disappearing act. A letter of demand is currently been drawn up - but I have no means of making sure it reaches them! Can anyone help? Advice maybe? Anything? Thanks in advance.
  11. Finshed product looks good. Out of interest...did you try the likes of rivers carbon to get it fixed with more prepreg and 'claved? With an integrated impact attenuater...surely a carbon specialist would be the first choice?

15x7 30p 4x114.3 Using 20mm adaptors. Though, I'd be very surprised if you can find SSR's in the fitment I have, let alone in 4x100. If you're going to use adaptors with standard brakes anyway, I'd buy Tristan's BBS RS's. They're ballin'
  15. I had SSR Professors at 17x8 front but at 13p. They had plenty of room to the guard at 2-3deg camber. But I think clearance to the strut would be a problem at 30p. I'd use 10mm spacers.
  16. Using factory bolts: Turn down some of the taper, then extend the hex. Otherwise, I have a bag of short studs and nuts that I was using in my 20mm adaptors - I moved to bolts because I wanted less compliance for racing.

Wanna swap for a race car?
  19. Why the f**k did he think 3 semi's and a street tyre was a good idea? And I bet the aftermarket seat didn't do him any favours when the airbag deployed! It scares me to think that he probably drove to the race track on public roads :S

Here's pics on an E30 as requested. The wheels didn't fit my brakes The front ones were just resting on the calipers in the photos So this means that the wheels are sitting about 5mm further out than they would with a 20mm adaptor. The two photos from the front are the 7" and the 8". I was planning on running a reverse stagger (I'm not joking). No it's definitely not a good idea. Because you end up with a gap between the hub and the wheel's mounting surface = big bending moment = snapped wheel studs/bolts amongst other things.

Don't forget you'll have to find low profile bolts to fit in the adaptors...I think I still have a bag of short studs/nuts that I used to use somewhere - I went to bolts to reduce compliance for racing. Also remember to get the insides of the adaptors hubcentric and go for a common size hubcentric outerlip too! You'll need a cert too (soyoumightaswellgetbiggerbrakesandawesomesuspension )
