Nowhere near the same sort of following for E21s as there is for the E30s, so I would be surprised if this goes for a huge sum, even a minter such as this one. Certainly a great example, the top model, good colour, etc. Interesting title for the thread, in the Uk the 323i was THE original yuppie mobile, I guess NZ was just a bit behind the times??

Shame the word "concept" is still in the description. It will be pretty close to that though ;-)

Good to hear the plugs have made a difference to how she's running.Mind you, I think it's your right foot that is the issue with the fuel economy, not the plugs..
-
Bugger, sorry to hear about the E30. Will certainly keep my eyes and ears peeled up this way for you.

Chris Amon has been a brand ambassador for Toyota since way back, including these editions. Not sure he ever worked in factory "hand building" these cars though as the seller suggests??

Less than a year old Black 18" Wheels off e46. Perfect Condition

Doh! Couldn't read the writing on the box when viewed on my phone - sorry, makes more sense when looking on the PC. What size and profile tyres did were you running on them, just out of interest? -

What make are they? Also width and offset? Are they staggered? Which E46 were they on, coupe, sedan, wagon, M3? Any fouling on bodywork? -
Everything is possible with enough time and effort. Question is why bother - if you want facelift, buy a facelift.?

Yes those numbers are correct for those cars. But The 335d is the old-model, E90 with previous generation common rail, whilst the 335i is the latest and greatest petrol technology. If you compare against the F30 330d consumption is 4.9l/100km which is the difference the new diesel technology has in economy. The new 335d is only available as xDrive, but even that still has 5.4l/100km with all the extra 4wd gubbins and extra power. Having been lucky enough to drive both a 335i and a 330d on a road-trip I would take the diesel everything, but then I do have a bit of bias towards the diesels.

I think you should ban yourself for posting that..

You been upsetting people again Geoff?? Ps. I thought that was a pic of you? No..?
-
Are those gearbox mounts suitable for a Getrag 265/5 in an E30? I have no clue..

I thought the new wheels were for the track, not daily use?? You would certainly feel the benefit of the lighter wheel & less un-sprung weight on the track... ;-)

Wow, that is one way to take the first corner in a 24hr race! Could so easily have turned very ugly when he span back across the track, amazing there wasn't more any contact!

Exactly, what you are showing is the "list of options" fitted to the car, not the build list which includes everything that is fitted as factory standard. That said any true M-Sport car should have option code 337 listed - M-Sport pack, just like this ///M 320i from TradeMe... oh hang on wait...
-
I can't wait for him to re-list it..

I think I started a bit of a sh!t storm there... Time to stir the pot.

If it's the car I think it is (pretty sure it is from the PPlate - unless that's been moved to another car) then it is certainly looking a whole lot better than it did when it was kicking around up Palmy way.Yup, lots of metal for your money, but Russian Roulette in terms of maintenance costs.

What offset weaves have you got? The web-site lists a few different types, all in a 15" x 7J size.Would rather avoid getting a new set of rims if I can help it. Ps too many Jons in this thread, getting confused!! -

Yeah, I'm running the 15" BBS weaves at the moment. The web-site says I would need a 5mm spacer and a bit of "light grinding" to get clearance. Both of which are easy enough. -

True Grant... but that part is under control, I think! -
Looks like its gone past that point Jack, if people you know are calling you out here like this I would suggest you be pro-active and call them.I admire your enthusiasm for racing Jack, and you have done well to get as far as you have on the sniff of an oily rag, but it looks like its time to re-group and sort through these things now do you can get back on track in future. Its a VERY small community in NZ and you don't want to get a bad name (rightly or wrongly) at this stage in your career.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I have been looking into a few of them. Right now I think the RX7 callipers with Corrado disc is looking the best bang for buck option. The wildwood set up from Massive does look great, but is quite a few $$$s, couldn't find much brake wise on the Garagisitc site (unless I was looking in the wrong place maybe??). Five-lug suspension would be a good way to go as it gives so many more options for wheels / brakes / suspension, etc. but getting hold of all the parts will add up to quite a bit, and then you have brakes, pads, etc on top of that. So yeah, researching the RX7s at the mo' although I might have to have a look at driftit's Bembo's before a final decision is made. -
