  1. Just off the Yahoo news site... PARIS (Reuters) - French police have arrested two teenage girls they say stole hundreds of euros from unsuspecting cash machine customers after distracting them by flashing their breasts. The 14-year old girls were taken to the Paris prosecutor's office to face charges while a 12 year-old accomplice was placed in a home, police said. The girls first struck last week when they approached a man withdrawing cash from an automated teller machine (ATM) in the sixth district of Paris. One of the girls tried to distract him by sticking a newspaper under his nose. When that failed, she opened her shirt and grabbed his crotch, while the other girl swiped 300 euros ($385). The girls struck again with the help of the 12-year old a few days later, using the same method to steal 500 euros from a woman. So take this as a warning gents, look out for young women flashing their norks around cash machines !
  2. Just had a trawl to find some more and liked these...
  3. Hmmm, as it's one of those repo places , I'll be interested to see if the sale goes through at that price? If it does then someone has a good buy.
  4. As foxy says, the one on this thread won't fit. I have got a pre-f/l towbar that I want to get rid of if you are after one. It's not for the race car is it Jack?
  5. More irony, this one is actually true! Granted they don't actually throw the baby at you, but the old Nana will come up to you begging for food for the baby (which could be anything in the bundle of rags) whilst the young kids go through your back pack and pockets. When we were on the pick-pocket express bus (the 147 iirc) from the train station to the Vatican they tried this on with my Mrs, not realising we were together as I had got on through the other doors. So when the kid has her hand in the wife's back pack they got my shopping bag round the back of the head - which just happened to be three nice bottles of Chianti! Made a hell of a bang, lots of shouting, knives waved about (not by me) and the pigs called, great fun! I 'ate pikeys
  6. Excuse my ignorance, but what is a 731 head for a 320i?
  7. Thanks for the tip Andy, I've never tried putting Lion Rouge through an engine, but then it's got to be good for something !
  8. Some oldies but still goodies...
  9. Hope you get it sorted Foxy, nothing worse than electrickery problems for frustrating the hell out of you. What did Paul do on the M54 for Geoff, running the Link resolves it I guess?
  10. Have a good one young fella! I hope you get lots of Bimmer related presents!
  11. Oi, watch it ya big city slicker you, it's all going on in Feilding at the moment. If you come over this way through Bunnyvegas you could stop off in the Bunnythorpe Tavern - $20 would buy you a lot of love from the ladies in there! Best not bring Jo with you for this trip eh ?Tyres are all ready for you, marked up and to the correct pressures - damn I'm good to you. Just got to get the blanking plate out now.
  12. Yes, nothing wrong with a nice set of clean bottle caps!
  13. Sounds sweet & crispy. I will pull it out now. Not sure if I will make it over to the track on Sunday, but Oli is dropping some stuff off to me afters... well he had better do anyways
  14. Ahh, I got it. Doh!
  15. I have one in the race car that is only going to get cut up to take some gauges, can give it to Oli to bring down to you on Sunday. How much you thinking of?
  16. Saw the topic and thought you were selling drugs Foxy !! What ratios you got?
  17. Depends on the colour of the crap coming from the exhaust - if it's sat for a while and not been run then it could probably do with a bit of a blow out. Let it idle for 10-15mins then see what is coming out, give it a rev to about 2 - 2,500 rpm and have a look. If there's a lot of smoke & crap take a picture and post it up so we can "analyse" the smoke signals.
  18. How much would you be after for one or two, you can keep the tyres?
  19. Soooooo last season, pffft! Just jealous because Ollie hasn't given me one.Glad to see you are doing the important jobs first Says he who is currently painting the inside of the car to avoid thinking about the engine replacement !
  20. Mine was an old english white Mark III back in the UK, I suspect it was a common fault on Spitfires as the chassis used to rust away in several common places. It was a great way to scare passengers though - I'll bet your old man did it on purpose a few times like I did!
  21. Have found quite a few annoying repairs on cars that I have owned over the years, none so far on either of the BMWs though - both from good homes! Worst one had to be the previous owner of my Triumph Spitfire who had carried out some chassis repairs with a coke can, some bog and lots of underseal. When this inevitably failed it provided some very interesting three-wheel steering suspension movement, it also caused the passenger door to open on sharp right hand bends, causing some very worried looks on un-suspecting passenger. Most of the rest are no worse than some of the things I have done to cars when I know i am going to flick them off soon
  22. A very interesting site and some great photos thanks for posting up the link, I wish my race car was prepared in the same way! Shame about the computer generated translations, they detract from the photos a little. My favourite quote "Two persons attach together."??
  23. I have got some steelies with decent tyres on them going gash if you want them Oli? Think there may only be 3 though!
  24. 325i Vert Needs: Tappets adjusting wheel wobble curing (bearing?) seats cleaned front of engine oil leak fixed Wants: all the small nicks and dents fixing to be driven more!
  25. Some seriously awful colour schemes in those photos - goes to show money is no substitute for taste. From when I lived and worked in London most of those types of cars were driven by very young rich foreign students with egos and attitudes to match the size of their wallets. It's noticeable in the pics many of the cars are parked illegally - they just don't care about parking tickets as they either don't pay or it's chump change. It is very funny when they get taken away on the back of a tow truck though espcially as the towies take extra care with such expensive machinery . I remember one cock yelling at the towie as he was lifting his Lambo onto the back "my cars worth more than you'll earn in your life so look after it" I bet that car was VERY carefully lowered into the pound
