  1. RWD.. 4WD models are badged iX and rocking horse teeth in NZ. Whatever you do take it to a specialist BMW shop to get a PPI done

  3. I dont think that an e90 is going to be much better, even one with a smaller engine. Its going to depend massively on how are where your driving. Buy a leaf FYI My 330 e91 auto averages around 10.5/l 100km
  4. All you need is a ListerBell STR Stratos and you have my dream garage. You bastard
  5. An M3 Touring, and a Clio V6... Thats just being greedy!
  6. If I had room for a third N52B30 and second E91 330... Id be all over it I even half considered buying it, fixing the little things up, and flicking it off for more $!
  7. Jebus, 5k?! Dont do it!
  8. Timing chains, oil leaks, etc etc etc. Pretty notorious (particularly if you compare it to a japanese 2l 4 pot with the same output )

  10. 123D or a 130i, the only reason to get one of the shitty 4 pots petrols is because you do not like your wife (This is how you form your argument for getting a decent one ) My 130i manual averages 8.6l/100km (and I dont go out of my way to drive economically.... You can either have a unreliable 4 pot that works its ass off hauling around a 1.4 ton hatch back, or a reliable smooth 6 that moves it without breaking a sweat.
  11. 400bhp, 550Nm.. and an open diff ? The rear brakes must get a hammering by TC
  12. Ceramic coating. Its legit. Slapped it on 6 weeks ago - Sonax Profiline. Got it filthy, snow foamed it, got rained on, then the sun came out.... No water spots, no polishing, shineyAF!

    Quick Questions

Anyone ever replaced the bush on an E8/9x blower motor? Ive lubed mine previously using a light machine oil, and it solved it for 6 months, now its squeeking again. Spending $200 on a new assembly seems crazy when its just the bush ? Tempted to try pull it out and replace it with a bearing.
  14. I remember doing it in a Mini clubman in a bar in Chch a few years ago, walked out the door and went full speed over a kerb and little garden, hilarious.

    The new 1 series

Yeah I though the same, it might just be Type R civic style though with multiple exhaust tips for the added thrust.

Kill it with fire. FWD and looks like a Daewoo. This is why they lost the war!
  17. Exhaust, a flash, and a BOV is not modding the hell out of
  18. certed for coilovers, lsd etc, and relatively low ks. Be a good buy for 7k, just needs all the nonsense pulled off it and a manual box installed!
  19. Its some sort of fridgefreezer trying so very, very, very hard to a be a golf GTi.
  20. Currently at 4k, might go cheap!
  21. Nope, 8.7l/100km (or 27mpg) mostly open road is what I do. It sits at like 6l at 100ishkmh. My 1.6 corolla used more gas
  22. I average 8.7L/100km with the 130, and dont nana it, I thought it was good on gas (for a 3L hot hatch) Stock suspension is definitely crashy on some roads, there are fixes though!
