Still havent had a chance to try fit them yet, reports are varied if they actually fit... I keep having to do this "work" thing, and its getting tedious. If you want something that definitely fits, the aussie option works and has proven significant gains, its just not cheap.

nope rear hubs - 33326792553 - its the only bush that isnt replaced by the PU kits youve listed, it also seems to be the first one to sh*t itself https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=UF92-EUR-11-2005-E87-BMW-130i&diagId=33_1230

Yup, but Id grab some stock spherical bushings (they arent covered by the PU kit) for the rear hubs as well. HellBM has the tools I used to do it.

Nope, talk to birds, wasnt actually too bad to get here.

Welcome, 130s are the jam. AW11s are also damn cool, I want another bad, but then I look at the prices on them now and cringe...

Not really uncommon, particularly on the pre-FL cars, not really a loss either as wasnt even very good when new and just dates cars when ages, may not have even been an option on the early kiwi cars. NZ 130s being lower speced than japanese is nonsense There are literally only 32 of them, 13 manuals, most got xenons etc. The only true poverty pack one Ive seen is one thats now a race car, was a red 2005, looked to be first one in the country - Manual/Non M/Halogen lights/no options etc... kinda gave the impression it was imported to be a race car.

NZ new manual, well priced... https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/130i/listing/3893097064?bof=iRn1zoHi

Any pics of the interference?

Hopefully finally get a chance to swap them onto mine over the christmas break, see how they bolt up and such.

Some interesting bits on it - https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/130i/listing/3891318327?bof=LxQFpYdD

Anyone else thinking this country is a bit of a mess and considering moving somewhere else....

MB W211, probably an E55 or something. Playing special needs autobahn runs.

If we didnt have the entire japanese fleet of 130s, there would be more 1Ms than 130s in NZ

Was curious so went to look it up, only pricing I could find for both was UK 2006 Z4 3lsi roadster 34000 british peso, 32500 for coupe, 130i 31500 britsh peso (both base manuals).. roughly 2.8 exchange to NZ in 2006. I cant remember where I found it, but my NZ new 130 was 95k NZD with option boxes ticked, which was like $15k+ more than a golf R32... Wonder why they didnt sell very well Soo... 130 under priced or Z4 3.0 over priced.

Bump $800, need garage space.

Commodores are becoming the Mustang of NZ.. This was up the road from me, I saw it at the supermarket a few hours before it became inverted (nice simmons wheels, kerbed to sh*t)

Replaced the dogbone bush with a powerflex one, no more wheel hop or bang noises when ya give it the beans in low gears, problem solved!.... but NVH through the cabin at idle is awful (near unbearable... this 4 pot is not refined...) Doh. Going to have to rethink this and look for other options.

Id go Bosch, its not a fun job that you want to do multiple times, unless particularly sadistic. No idea if ATL is any good or not, but for $200 I wouldnt bother chancing it.
-
Ive stopped monitoring mine, as its not daily, but 130i manual prefl on my regular commute and I was geting 9.3l/100km (mostly open road to be fair). Eurotrash skoda is averaging 7.5ish as a comparison

Was it as bad before the MILV flash? FWIW I got https://www.injectortech.co.nz/index.htm to clean and bench test the injectors I have (still) sitting on the N52 on stand here. Was fast and good service.

e91 G’day new here - E91 Lowering Suggestions

Eibachs in the 130 are good, they dont do dumb things with spring rates. H&R are well known to make stuff that work as well. Id be concerned with some of the less well documented brands spitting out springs with crashy over sprung stuff which will just make it annoying to drive. Springs will be easy to find for it, id start at the eibach/h&r catalogues then throw numbers into rockauto etc.
