hi no waste gate setup , just the hose expands a little I suppose ., I think if it was high boost I would have a intercooler . no cert -

hi yes my car is still going upto 155k's now so done about 40,000km with the charger . no issues still needs a proper tune though still get good economy etc almost makes as much power as a 3l m3 but pulls much stronger from 3000rpm than a NA engine does whats the charger off , a 2L type one wont push enough air and may just make lots of heat if you crank it up -
there where a few specials , just made up for the japan market , basically they where a 635csi auto then fitted with a m88 engine , so no rear mounted battery etc

take all the belts off the front and see if the noise is still there p/s , a/c and alt etc sounds like a bearing etc

not quite daily driven (too thirsty ) but my e28 m535i with a 3.65L M88 engine has 527,000km that's equivalent to 1.37 times to the moon and back or 14 times to the Uk and back or 13 times around the earth

needs a bonnet , rad support and front panel , bumper is fine . but if you don't insure your car for enough they will write it off make aure you get agreed value insurance with someone like AA etc otherwise its market value which may have been $3k on this car cost of the panel beaters , painting and parts at stupid retail prices and they will write it off as uneconomical to repair
