yea thats the big questioni sort of always wanted one , but only in black and low k's etc so what would you pay for something like that in the market place. not sure if the supercharger would push enough air to be of much use maybe crunchy will know??

yes its amazing what some people do to nice cars . 1st owner had it from new in 1994 till about 2008 then a dealer then the guy i got it from (customer of mine) was just parked outside across the road from his townhouse (which had a garage full of stuff) right next to a kids play ground and park. will put the lights on tard me , so they can live on in a more suitable candidate like a 318is or 320i etc driving around manukau etc

got this m3 the other week needs a really good tidy up . not sure where to go with it yet keep it and sell my 328i coupe with the super charger . or sell the m3 if i keep it i think i would like to change the colour to black i would bolt on as many black panels as i have and get the rest painted , not worrying about the engine bay though. some of the panels i have in stock may have scratches etc from being in storage so might end up painting the whole car otherwise if i decide to sell it on i will just tidy up some of the panels and paint in the same colour etc had a quote of about 4k to tidy it up in the same colour or about 5k to paint it black etc. what do you guys think. just about every panel has paint issues , clear coat going , small dents , stratches , break in marks etc . also the wheels need a refurb and one of the wide ones has a dent in it or swap them for something else as not that keen on the style needs new carpet and other interior stuff sorted ac not working heater vent issues plastic trims everywhere need changing etc mech seams ok , except for the clutch , lines swelling etc , or master or slave cylinders stuffed etc. have already sorted some of the little electical isssues , changed the lights back to normal ones etc

std hp is 193hp flywheel for the 328i engine i think this should be somewhere near 210-220hpas my stock std e34 535i made 118rwkw on teh same dyno and they where rated at 211hp flywheel oh and the 328Ti still made 295Nm of torque same as my 328i did

we fitted a m52b28 into my mates 318ti to set it up as a track car , goes really well . has a m50 manifold on it , std getrag 220 box same as a 318i etc . lightish m20 flywheel and new clutch . 3.64 lsd from a e30 . goes pretty quick made 126rwkw on the dyno and thats not tunned and still using a 318ti rear muffler . my 328i std made 112rwkw . but his ti is stripped out and weighs in at about 1250kg so its pretty quick , but if you bolt a turbo to that it would go pretty well. or maybe buy one of those ford or ls3 v8 conversion kits from the states

got this in today 1999 e39 540i jap import , M62b44TU twin vanos tidy body and interior . wof and reg everything works , tv radio cd , a/c . nice new tyres on 18" m5 type alloys . nice clear headlights etc . 276k's trans shifts nice suspension is tight engine has a mean rattle in the camchain area i would say will need new cam chain tensioners etc . will sell it as is complete with or with alloys (have some 16" as well) say $3500 or can sell parts from it if it doesn't sell complete 021433600 [email protected] papakura

getting some panel and paint on the old e28 replacing some average panels with better ones like a new sunroof panel , better straighter front mtec bumper , tidier front bonnet . better rear boot lip spoiler , new windscreen and trims around it. sort a few small rust spots , scratches etc. should look prett good when done its been a while since i spent any time/money on the body work etc.

have some good wood trims if needed

make sure window resetable fuse switch is plug in and pushed in

have good working 4;3 monitors if needed

check for vac leaks , bad icv , worn out afm , worn out dizzy and rotor , worn plugs , dirty air filter , stuffed fuel pressure reg , do a compression check. and yes the 320i auto are a bit slow off the mark , tall gearing and rev happy top end power , but not much torque down low. bring it around if you want me to look at it [email protected] papakura 021433600

i dont bother drilling holes , just use urathane on the sides and some screws underneth

i have a 3.91 lsd , 3.25lsd for a e30 if that helps. try marty or brendan for an open diff

thats the aux water pump , i have some , or you can just bypass it . its only there to help with the heater when the car is at idle

yes have done it before years ago , you need to run 2 extra wires to a temp sensor outside .

looks nice now . its actually got a hartge cylinder head , from a H23 heres a pic of the hartge number before the head got overhauled good luck with the sale. ps; wiper issue could just be a faulty wiper module in the fuse box , or bad conection under it
