they dont pull sills off , just guard linners , door trims , lower a and c piller trims etc. they might remove body kit side skirts??? they look fro any impact damage , badly repaired crqash damage stuff. rust around structual pionts , suspension points . there was a guy local who imported a 850csi a few years back from the Uk , and its still not on the road due to failling for rust etc.

yes have seen a few pivot pioints worn down , which then makes the clutch fork push on funny angles , and damage the fingers on the pressure plate and allow the slave cylinder rod fall out etc
-
check for moisture/carbon build up etc in the dizzy cap , excessive wear in the cap and rotor etc
-
figure it will need a new clutch and flywheel . go for a new after market flywheel and clutch $1500-2000 plus a days work.
-
another option is using a early single mass 316i 318i 318is 318ti type m43 m40 m42 flywheel and getting the clutch kit ramped up to suit the 328i engine , have done a few like this now and they work quite well . they weigh about 9-10kg depending on which one you get , bolt straight on and use the same starter motor etc. or try darren he sells these in nz http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-572986426.htm

yes faulty control displau unit , swap it out for another one , i have some , 2nd ones and reco'd ones

does the interior lioght work properly , on when door is open and off when closed??? the door switches wear out on these cars , so the int light stays on etc and teh door locking system wont work. check for wear marks on the door switches , espeically the drivers door. push the switch in manually and see if the lock system works
-
i dought it , just some cheap ebay badges
-
is this for the e30 , just replace the shaft etc. from another parts car like this one http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=41433

I think the post refers to the turn signal indicator lamp in the dash - the one that blinks in synch with the turn signals which are working outside the car. Yeah, sorry for the confusion. I do refer to the Turn Signal Indicator lamp on the dash. just replace the bulb in the dash easy enough job
