have seen cars that sit have cream up the top , moisture , wipe it off and take it for a good hot drive and see if it comes back but maybe get it checked as well.

??? being only a auto and 2.5L $1-3k ???? dont know , not many about but not that sort after either 3L manual worth more , but worth a lot more when its the coupe

looks ok , rust is gonna be your main problem with these old cars . and some parts are hard to get or costly etc . mech and electrics are pretty simple etc i have some spares for these cars . but get it on a hoist so you can check the under side of the car , look around under all the trims carpet etc for rust . 5spd conversions are possible but might be hard to find the donar parts. engine swap to a 528i 535i etc will be possible..

just swap the ac pump , i have some for $120 , i use a mobile guy to empty the system and then refill after you swap the pump costs about $120-150?? artic auto's then it will be full and work well

thats funny here is my 328i coupe from a few years back made 111.8 rwkw 3.15 diff , headers ,std exhaust with cats , 6.5kg flywheel 5pd manual . 100,000km on the clock full power at 5200rpm 295Nm my old 92 325i made the same power 111.9rwkw with same diff and flywheel , std cast manifold std centre exhaust ,after market rear muffler, chipped ecu ?? 200,000km on the clock full power at about 5800rpm 250Nm my mates 328Ti we just made up has a m50 325i intake manifold and throttle body ,stock 328i ecu etc 7kg flywheel , 5spd manual , std headers , free flow centre pipes , stock 318ti rear muffler , 3.64diff 160,000km on engine made 126rwkw and 295Nm

also if you run the tanbk low on fuel it will be sucking air and damage the pump motor as they use th efuel to keep the pump motor cool , so you may have damaged it and require a new one

Just been for fly in my dads falco plane he built. At Southport air strip in gold coast. Takes off in about 500m same engine as a Cessna but weighs about half as much. Very capable plane , controls very direct.

My rental car in I have in gold coast , my brothers c55 amg .nice sound, plenty of power, handlling is firm , nice weighted steering, quite clever gearbox, holds gears longer etc when you floor it,. Looking to driving it around for the next week or so.

someone should go check the chasis numbers match up check the vin number under the back seat left side on the tin lid that cover the fuel sender and on the ecu etc
