depends on how urgent you need to get the car going. order key from bmw dealer std key without remote etc about $150-200 depending on who you order it though. approx 10days?? delivery next option is go to these guys . http://www.expresskeys.co.nz/bmw they can make one up in a few hours , similer in price to make a copy etc. they can get the code from the ews box if you take it in there. and can cut a key from the boot lock if you take that in there too. will cost more though if they have to come out and pick locks etc etc. next option is to swap out the ews , ign unit , ecu and key , ews chip, door locks etc etc from another car like this . http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-460664961.htm call me if you need more info 021433600

try kayne barrie motorsport in silverdale. i hear he has converted a few SMG cars to std 6spd manuals for bmw dealers and other customers , he might have pumps left over etc (but thats why they normally get converted when the pumps fail)

the guy was asking me for parts for it a little while back , i dont think he knows what it is. probably another jap or uk import with wheels and badges added to it racing dynamics did make a e34 k38 which had a stroked m30 engine using the 3.8l crank from the 3.8l m5 engine. about 280hp etc big brakes , hard suspension , body kit 10" wide wheels at back etc etc but only LHD and in euro land etc i dought this car has any of that , just some badge someone has nicked off a car and the wheels and front kit http://www.3ads.co.uk/advert/e34-racing-dy...sale-32924.html

picture of the type will help. factory ones have 2 small 5 sided allan screws behind 2 little flaps on the outside edge of the face you have to wind them all the way untill they stop like this

have some sport seats version of those if you want some new covers/foam etc . same colour from a 96 nz new 328i convertible , have wear but could be repaired, redyed etc , its easy to fit the covers and foam etc to std seats to make them the sport seats. good work on the seat you have though:)

yes check the cats , they block up . have had that problem before , undo a plug bolt on the manifold to release pressure. also is teh any fuel in the tank??

there is no mount that will bolt up properly for what you are using.it will have to be modified , drilled , slotted , welded etc etc to make it work or just make one like a lot of the e30 guys do when they fit a m50 engine into a e30 with a getrag 260 or 240 gearbox either use a m50 engine with proper m50 type gearbox or use a m20 engine with m20 type gearbox

if you have replace teh m20 engine with a m50 engine , and are still using the getrag 240 or 260 box from the m20 you will have to make up a mount or modify one as the m50 engine leans over more. if you use a m50 m52 type gearbox liek getrag250 or zf types etc then use a orignal e34 mount for a later model m50 engine m50. also driveshafts will all be different lengths depending on which gearbox you use. also may have to bend the gearlever over a bit . i think my mate used a getrag 240 behind a m50 engine in a e34 we used a e36 gearbox mount and then had to use bigger rubber mounts on one side and pack washers under right side engine mount to lift it up a bit. and slot some of the holes etc best thing you can do is get all the correct m50 parts to suit the car

m20 or m50 engine as gearboxes use different types also wide or narrow type tunnel??? just buy a new one , they are not that expensive approx $100

also check your inner guard linners are fitted up nice and tight with all the screws holding it in place there etc.

you are flooring it more , also let it sit around and idling while increase the fuel usage, better to test it over a week or 2 of driving normally also double check all your plugs and hoses are conected back in place etc
