bmw club Kaiaua Fish & Chip run. was a great drive. through clevedon , over the hills to hunia , paparimu etc there was a whole lot more than that too. also e28 m5 (from oz), and a few newer cars too.

double check all the conections in the e box , also check you fitted the trans plug into the tcu properly etc. are the relays and fuses ok?? i take it the trans is stuff in 4th gear when you drive??

just got this in m 95 jap import imported in 1998 520i auto . 320,000km reg lapsed . last wof back in 2009 face lift front like 540i v8 etc broken drivers window tidish grey/black cloth seats and door cards. panels mostly ok silver jatco trans . vanos m50 2L. complete car 15" bbs good for parts or maybe fix it up and reg it?? has a key but needs a ews key to start it. have tested the engine using a ecu ews kit from a mates car . so engine runs fine etc 021433600 $800 complete or could sell off in parts etc in papakura http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.as...617&ed=true

use a front door handle from a late model e36 about 97 onwards they dont have key hole.then use a handle surround from the right rear door to cover the key hole after you remove the barrol from it. and what say your remote fails how would you get in??

always go for a direct input with cables , no to fm units or tape adators etc which head do you have , pictures??

takes a while on the coupes , have to remove the glass etc to get at the back of the handle mech

getrag 260 box from a m30 not a m20 etc check with bm weapon i think he will have most parts

i use a guy called pete at papakura mufflers 2986853 27 elliot st he does lots of headers on v8's into hotrods ,mussel cars , offroader stuff , turbo down pipes etc etc

the ali parts inside break so you will need a new handle mech. i have some if needed 021433600

no ,it is easy to replace the diff

yea but that one will be full of rust.a few have sold over the last few years here for about $2500 to $5000 but all those had 200,000+ km etc he trying to sell 2 of them for that money no standard 5spd zf gearbox like in a 525i 328i etc but with a transfer case bolted to teh back of it .but yes look very similer to x5 type etc you can also get e30 325ix and e46 330xi etc in left hand drive

yes just use the big red cable , most e34 models have the battery under the rear seat on the right side. always use a volt meter when hooking up car stereo gear , dont work blind
