replace the door handle mech ?
-
yes a larger amp driving the door speakers should help but dont to big , but you will have to get seperate crossovers (or amps with built in crossovers etc) so as not to send bass down to the tweeter and mids etc , as the factory amp has that all built in. here's a pic of the sub and the door speaker pods etc
-
will have a m3 interior up for sale soon . vader seats and door cards etc http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=34065

yukky old mans wood like this
-
rear parcel shelf speaker box is a small sub box with 2 or 4 5" subs in side it driven off a seperate chanel in the 10 chanel map in the boot . the box is mounted under the parcel tray with small hole for it to breath back up into the cabin . better to just diconect it and wire in a large amp with a seperate 10" or 12" sub box in the boot with the old box removed so the base can come up through the hole . and just upgrade the door speakers if you need to afterwards , but i think you will find them fine if they have not been damaged etc

rewire the ac fan and use a lower temp sensor on the radiator from a e36 318ti so the fan cuts in earlier . can shwo you how if you like

do the wiring at the amp end in the left side of the boot , unplug the amp and figure out which wires come from the deck and which go to each speaker , also remember to use crossovers etc so you dont blow up the mids and tweeters etc .

some new alloys . 17" by 8.5" and should be back from the painters soonish . will update
-
also with these m88 engines , very importatant that you check the timming chain and guides as the guides wear quite a bit and if they fail its all over for the engine.
-
also most of these later trans will hold the lower gears when cold so it warms up the cats quicker. there are also soliniods that fail and get sticky with age ,wear and tear etc .
