ring glenn , he has guy that might be able to fix it if he can get the barrol out ./ overwise a new ign barrol and housing with key , then get the barrol recoded to work with your old key .

dont buy any of those all in one type systems they are all cr$* . truts me 20 years in the industry . but a decent home theatre reciever onkyo , denon , sony , pioneer etc etc then get some speakers that are made by a speaker maker not a electronics maker like audiopro , wharfdale ,mission , polk audio , even though you might get good discounts form a store you might still get better value from TM etc like this http://www.trademe.co.nz/Electronics-photo...n-273335166.htm http://www.audiopro.com/?id=160&id_category=1

well done my first day at work ( a real job), boy oh boy , a lot of work to be done . just trying to get my head around what stock is there , learning all the other euro stuff . finding a few jems , like a full mtec II kit still on a e30 . varios spoilers etc like ac/s and wheels etc might organise a working bee some time soon to clear up the old yard of parts , timber , scrap steel etc . work for parts and bbq????? etc one weekend etc . anyone keen ??

i had one done in my one in my e28 535i , baverian motors did it for me , just used drills on a air drill unit , just marked them off and used bigger and bigger drills untill it was the right size for the sensors etc . cost me about $100 or so .or maybe maybe convert to motronic 1.3 system . and be done with that system

i got a spare basic ews key in for my 328i 1996 cost about $140 i think .

bmw use getrag or zf brand boxes , i think ZF might own getrag now ???

water/coolant will stuff a trans in a very short time ,it disolves the glue that holds the clutch friction matterial on to the clutch plates. trans oil in the coolant system wont matter .

european car parts , 10 parker st papakura yes will try and organise some events etc there , any idea's??? do need a working bee there to clear up the old yard . but will have to talk the over with the others involved

will revell more later on . once i am in there and set up got a lot of systems to sort out . old yard (next door)to be cleared . workshop to be set up . stock/cars to be sorted. will be spending a few weeks just getting to grips with whats there etc. its a bit of a treasure trove .

early 735i 730i 6cyl e32 use the hydro brake boosted system , later ones use the vac sytem ,. except the 750i v12 and 740i 730i v8 as all of those use the hydro system due to the space issues

just a couple of things . the ews box and the ews power supply for the ews coil wire into the main e36 body loom some wires go off to the iginition side of things and others go though the large round plug that conects the body loom to the engine loom. so you should see some of the wires will match up (but best to find a diagram on line). a e36 air box wont fit in a e30 . that e32 brake master cyliner you have is from a vac boosted system , there is also another type on the early e32's which have the hydrlic boosted system . the power steering pipe just needs a hose and a hose clamp ( its not the high pressure side) the e34 dipstick goes down into the left side buldge of the e34 sump . the air hole in the intake boot conects with a hose to the idle control valve piper under the manifold. good work , keep it up
