    can probably do a 3.91 in another diff case(E36 ,E34 ETC) , and you can get the gears swapped over to fit your e30 diff case etc
  4. easy job . just unbolt the complete shock/spring tower , one big bolt at the bottom , 3 small bolts in teh bott under side carpet . losen top mount centre bolt get a spring compressor to compress the spring then unbolt the shock top mount . or just swap in a second hand strut , i have some $40

  6. morris marina land crab 1800tc . what a boat . nissan vanette . yes used one for a few weeks doing the home to work run pokeno to hernebay ,. and yes they rev hard at 100km/h , got so sick of the noise used to just drive it at about 1.4 times the speed limit down the bombays all the awy to papakura just to make the trip quicker

  8. use a bolt head that fits in then screw 2 more nuts on to it to lock them , you can then use a spanner or socket on the end
  9. just be carfull you will spend a lot of money doing that type of conversion and the car will be worth less than what you put in if you use a non bmw engine . why not sell it and buy a M3 then super charge it if you not happy with the power of it . super charger kits are readily availible and easy to fit and pull off when you sell the car etc

  12. i think brett cowan has used some sort of rose jointed stuff in the back of there M3 race car .

  20. yes i know what you mean , we had a 1999 540i touring for a while , very quick car for a tank, about 6secs to 100km/h . loads of torque too. but i didn't like the way the power just stops at 5200rpm , where as the old m60B40 goes past 6000rpm . and yes you wont be swapping yours over to a m62b44tu to many differences in the electronics . just super charge yours if you want more power

    why a 525i , why not a 528i or 535i etc ??
  22. have you checked the dizzy cap and rotor??? if they are worn or cracked you wont get any or good spark. also check/replace main 2 relays , you could try another ecu if all else fails to get it going.
  23. check the fuel pressure regulator. check there is no fuel coming out of the vac hose thats connected to it .
