530i v8 smoother , more ecnomical , 5 spd adaptive auto (can be a pain) , quieter ,more modern engine design . better later type leather seats , wood trim?? 535i m30 6cyl more torque , more fuel , more 5spd manuals around , cheaper to fix engine (maybe) easier to work on the engine . more upgrades can be done to the engine , easy and cheapish to swap auto to manual. maybe better handling (weight wise?) dont bother with a early 530i m30 6cyl

yes its called "MY SKY HDI". no lcd's or plasma's that i know of with freeview sat built in as there are to many types of sat system in the world . but also if you have a built in decoder then you have to still have a seperate one if you want to record from it . or maybe get one of those sat boxes with Hard drive in it or a one you can hook up a hard drive or usb stick etc

the e36 have the battery post on the drivers side , then the red cable goes from there over to the passenger side next to the fuse box which supplys power to the fuse box and relays etc . so probably not needed in a e30 unless you need a heavy gauge power wire for something on the left side of the car like a train horn etc

i like this one

good score , have a set of those on my e34 535i

how about dropping the subframe down to give you more room

might be easier to just join up speaker the wires at the amp end , they come down from the head deck to the amp then back off to all the speakers , also the amp has cross overs in them , so you might need to fit some small value bipolar capacitors so as not to send bass sound to the tweeters and midranges etc . or leave the amp there . just take the tuners and cd stacker etc call me if you not sure 021433600

you need one of these units. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-269020202.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-268708947.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-269314661.htm maybe a new aerial cable and euro aerial adadtor plug as well rememeber the aerial cable goe sto the back of the car , also the amp is mounted there . you do have to remove the trims both sides of the stereo unit to get at the hidden screws etc . just takes time.

m10 wont bolt up to a m44 m 42 m43 m420 gerabox etc . different bolt spacing etc . you could use a getrag 265 close ratio box with your m10 engine out of a e30 m3 or some e28,s like 528i m535i and e24 635csi etc but otherwise probably better to use a m44 engine , nice torque in the 1.9L m44

i quite like this one . with the individual interior . why does it have folf down rear seats when there doesn't appear to be an opening into the boot ? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-269013635.htm. these one's are not to bad http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-265844988.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-243112198.htm then the over priced ones that have been on the market for a long time http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-257830166.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-262445532.htm not even registered and lhd http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-266484131.htm

i have some from e36 , e34 etc etc . -
yes i have had this problem before , and just held the shaft/rockers in place while tightning the head bolt so it grabs it . they do have a bit of slop in there if the shafts can move freely .
-
the head bolt locates the rocker shaft inplace , but sometimes you have to hold them in place when tightning them down so they stay centred
-
do you not have a lsd in your diff now??
