the back section is std , you just need a std fold down arm rest to fit in there . the lower sections (3 parts) will have to swapped out for a std bench type rear seat
-
probably a sth african made , old stock parts. chasis numbers dont work in the bmw parts list
-
You have to undo the 3 bolts that hold the torque convertor to the flexiplate (access hole through right side of block).drop the exhaust system down , undo the driveshft . the gear lever cable or arm
-
looks good . effortless power cant wait to try the BMw M60B44 V8 engine i have sitting here , just waiting for a 6spd box to arrive to fit into a e36 coupe .
-
also check fusable link near positive battery terminal they fail too. that will stop , wipers , windows , heater , radio etc from working
-
nice looking car . it is worth doing a manual conversion if you like the car . i am converting mine to manual soon similer plate to my one also not a big fan of the huge rear wing. i took the option of not using the mtec type wing , instead went for a small e39 lip

good work ,. they look much nicer in your car than in the donar car

-
yea they say that because it has 4 positions on teh gearlever but it goes "2,3,4 drive" so number "2" postion has 1st and 2nd gear in it

e34 535i 540i e32 735i 740i etc and maybe highline e24 635csi yuky wheel and $500 to $750 per tyre for old rubber design

all the 6cylinder models are a 5spd auto , most jap imports will have the jatco box , nz new & uk imports most will have the zf box both types have the life span of about 150 to 250,000km before they pack up .save your self the hassles of having to fix them and put up with stupid gear changes etc and buy a 5spd manual car manuals seam to last well over 400,000km .
-
maybe some others should try . guy says they are 15" but infact they are 415mm metric rims. then sends nasty comments on my auctions http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-246003235.htm

the face lift e30 320i 325i has the same radiator as the early e36 m50 325i 320i etc the radiator in my e36 92 325i came from a e30 320i 1990
-
is it a sedan or coupe , sunroof or non sunroof
-
even better put M20B25 in from a facelift e30 325i or early e34 525i

if you want to use your sony cd cahnger then you will have to stay with sony head deck that has the same type of cd changer plugs. if you want to throw the whole lot out then you can use anything you like . i would maybe go for one of the newer tape decks . maybe this one? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=245925646 easy enough to swap over just take it to any auto sparky or car audio shop etc . should be about $50 to do the job
-
what ratio do you have in your 328i , as the lsd packs dont tend to fit in the 2.93 ratio as the crown wheel is much fatter than in the 3.15 ,3.25 ratio diffs etc
-
just remove the little plate , get some good sealant and apply and refit .
-
those 1991-93 bmw /sony radio's all of them packed up . i have about 6 of them here with faults . have replaced them with a sleightly newer sony units , so the same cd changer can be used . but you have to change the main power and speaker plug , but its not a major most other later e36 units use the bmw/alpine types and some later ones use philips/bmw units . here are some listings of units that will work with your cd stacker. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-245084282.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-244544258.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-245694763.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-245058203.htm

the resistor sword packs up and will work only on full speed. also the pollen filters get blocked . the heater taps fail and leak hot air in when its turned to cold etc ..
