  6. sounds like its toast . very expensive to rebuild , better to just swap it out for a good working second hand unit or swap it out for a manual conversion.

    Water leak?

    thats about where they settle , they will push excess water out the overflow if you over fill them. there is a high and low mark on the side of that tank . thats where it should be

    the back section is std , you just need a std fold down arm rest to fit in there . the lower sections (3 parts) will have to swapped out for a std bench type rear seat
  9. probably a sth african made , old stock parts. chasis numbers dont work in the bmw parts list
  10. You have to undo the 3 bolts that hold the torque convertor to the flexiplate (access hole through right side of block).drop the exhaust system down , undo the driveshft . the gear lever cable or arm
  11. looks good . effortless power cant wait to try the BMw M60B44 V8 engine i have sitting here , just waiting for a 6spd box to arrive to fit into a e36 coupe .
  12. also check fusable link near positive battery terminal they fail too. that will stop , wipers , windows , heater , radio etc from working
  13. nice looking car . it is worth doing a manual conversion if you like the car . i am converting mine to manual soon similer plate to my one also not a big fan of the huge rear wing. i took the option of not using the mtec type wing , instead went for a small e39 lip

    323i?

    have had both , 323i is a lot slower , engine feels strangled. get a 328i to replace your 325i if you want have a improvement
  17. yea they say that because it has 4 positions on teh gearlever but it goes "2,3,4 drive" so number "2" postion has 1st and 2nd gear in it
  18. e34 535i 540i e32 735i 740i etc and maybe highline e24 635csi yuky wheel and $500 to $750 per tyre for old rubber design
  19. all the 6cylinder models are a 5spd auto , most jap imports will have the jatco box , nz new & uk imports most will have the zf box both types have the life span of about 150 to 250,000km before they pack up .save your self the hassles of having to fix them and put up with stupid gear changes etc and buy a 5spd manual car manuals seam to last well over 400,000km .

  21. the face lift e30 320i 325i has the same radiator as the early e36 m50 325i 320i etc the radiator in my e36 92 325i came from a e30 320i 1990

  23. even better put M20B25 in from a facelift e30 325i or early e34 525i
