plus 1 .pcv at the back of the inlet manifold (old diapham colapses). will let oil from the top of the rocker covers into the intake system .

are you getting the new v8 one too

e30 rad and oil cooler will be fine . is it the large e30 radiator . or you can also use a e28 535i they fit in

if it is real bad , just buy another 525ia ,535ia body with stuffed auto or engine etc and swap the manual bits over etc . probably can help with a good shell if needed

yes just unscrews , very easy .i have some nice black letaher ones .

try ecu.co.nz for moding your ecu . i might have a ecu with non ews , will be a bosch 413 or 415 etc i think .

grant do none of your cars have live reg . costs nothing to put them on hold

normally the resitor block type is used on heater dials like this one which have 4 speeds . as aposed to the variable type speed ones

yes m50 are all cast iron , m52 are ali i hear its better not to have vanos when doing turbo setups

better to use early M50 2.5 non vanos as they are a cast iron block ,and less complicated with out the vanos.and fit a 2.8L crank if you want more CC (and maybe bore out to 3L while you are at it)

you will need to swap the brake system incl abs pump , brake bomb ,hydro brake booster etc etc , lots of wiring also you will need to swap trans and front section of wiring loom over too. a bit of a major , would be easier if it was manual . also rear end diff etc . basically everthing .... easier to fix the v8 up , but hey they dont cost much to buy these days 540i 3k-5k
