hi . i have a 92 325i coupe in manual (non vanos) chipped ecu weighs about 1330kg in manual . and also own a e28 m535i they weigh about 1395kg the one thing i miss when driving the e36 is the torque of the bigger engine ,it has a nice rev happy nature and pulls well up through the rev range with out any fuss but just lacks teh low down . but having driven a couple of e36 328i they certainly make up for it with the extra 300cc and the vanos system . still not quite as quick as the e28 but pretty close . why not just change the gearbox in the 635csi to a later getrag 260/6 box from a e34 535i etc they dont seam to give much trouble i have a 96 motorsport kitted 328i coupe for sale , 5spd auto $4500. but can supply manual a kit if needed for bit more also have a 94 325i coupe with a faulty auto trans .(going cheap)

looks tidy . worth all of about that. i have a mtech kit and most of a 5spd kit for that if needed . and also bumpers etc

well i know a few people that will be bidding on it ,. including the last owner who did the conversion before it got repo'd from him because previous owner owed money on it . he wants it back so he can finish the work on it and then try and beat the money out of the guy who ripped him off .

you can pull them apart , you will see perrishing of the rubbers in side etc

you can buy sony to bmw wiring loom adapators from repco etc (i might have one that suits) or just manually wire it in if you know what you are doing (dont bother if you dont know) . yes you may need a euro to jap aerial adaptor , i have these if need . in papakura 021433600

you will need a e34 525i sump to fit to the m52 engine or maybe my e39 sump from a e39 528i as the e36 sumps are in the wrong place . and yes do it with a manual . i have manual pedals etc for e28 also wiring shouldn't be to much of an issues with abit of research . the later ecu's have to have the EWS (security key code )system conected to them or the engine wont start.

try replace the heater valves , or maybe the digital control panel , most common causes .

that looks like the later 3.5 block with the 10:1 pistons . 1983-1987 type .has the grand piano top pistons . the early blocks 1978-1982 had a bigger bore and less stroke with flat top pistons 10:1 . (same block as used for the m5 /m6 engine) and the later 1988-1992 had lost some of the middle section of the piano top .to make 9:1 CR flat top early block . then 10:1 mid 80's block then 9:1 later 80's early 90's

i think you need e34 ali mounting arms , e34 sump , e28 rubber engine mounts etc .

E34s are the best value bmw on the maket ------PLUS 1 i have a set of reacaro's for sale if yuo want them.

i drove this car a years back when it was at that tender place in gt sth rd in otahuhu . was quite a nice car then . i think they where trying to get about 8-10k back then .

i remember this car now , some asian guys came and brought a rear windscreen for it from me (previoys owners) a couple of weeks back , thats why its not tinted like the rest of the glass (tight as %&^*& too)
