    all made out of crap plastic with about 30% crushed recycled glass , all the plastics in the cooling system will fail over time better to change now before they crack and you cook your very expensive engine

    simple buy cheap plane ticket , fly up and have a awesome road trip back down:) then sell the 540ia , im telling you will be a lot cheaper and less hassle in the long run have converted a couple of e34 540i etc and its not a cheap exercise

    by the time you get the box in from overseas , new clutch and flywheel (cant really use an old worn out dual mass one) RHD pedals , new master and slave units , modified driveshaft etc , expect to be paying around $6k ??

    I would say it will be fine . but I do have a set of 10;1 c/r pistons if you want to upgrade but you will be pulling whole engine apart and rebuild everything by the time you do that . did you still want that new valve ?
