try removing the ICV and clean,lube and check it , probably seized up from lack of use and age etc

they wear out , insulation crumbles , pull back the boot on the plug and you will see . just replace it , they have a 10-15year life if you are lucky

no they are 15" and wont fit over e36 m3 brakes but I do have some 16" bbs style 5 alloys that do fit over 3l m3 brakes , but not sure on the later 3.2L brakes , you may need min 17" size have other options for sale incl ac s type 3 in 18"

if you have the early steering wheel with the built in airbag light . there wont be a dash airbag light . all the electrics for the airbag and impact sensor etc are all in the steering wheel. there is a 3 pin steering wheel contact system . check there is power there etc . maybe the unit in the steering wheel has failed (common enough) , just replace the wheel with another one the same or swap it for a non airbag sports wheel from a early e36 non airbag car etc. most early e34 models had no airbags and some inbetween models had optional or retro fit airbag setup like what you have. see pics

yea floors and sills can rust badly check around the rear trailing arm beam area , front wings are about $1500 + each new I would want to see this thing up on a hoist

just rust and more rust , \\ that's about all I can say for these , especially the early ones pity he doesn't put any decent pics etc . this is the 1st of the e28 based chassis . but will have the earlier type med diff that was a 1 year or so only type . so different rear arms ,axles and diff to the later e24 e28 etc . also 3 or maybe 4 ? speed non switchable auto but could be a cool project but rusty guards ,floor and sills could be a pain to sort to get the car reregged etc
