Picked it up a few weeks ago but been a bit slack in putting up pics, I know there are a few of you that have these or are interested in them. This one is a new Suzuki 750axi KingQuad - it has awesome grunt & is a very stable unit. I use it for fishing up at the Waitaki river at the crib there when I get a chance to get up there! I did purchase a set of mags for it, they arrived and had them fitted but they offset the rear by as much as 200mm making it far too wide to get it on the trailer!

LINKAGE This is the newbie subject to finance now, some serious coin for a 28 year old & they may want as much as a 50% deposit! will post some decent pictures when if/when it arrives.

Head hurts! Had a few with a few mates in the garage lastnight, woke up to a busted iPhone, my spare wheel for my trailer hanging from the roof via a extension cord, my outdoor setting chairs and table hanging from the roof via another extension cord, 3 dozen worth of Heineken bottles over the ground, screwdrivers in the speights cans in the fridge, my pants & undergarments on the roof (don't ask me how), about a dozen of Corona bottles in the drier, the door to the garage busted up, burn marks where someone has tried to set fire to my spare wheel on the floor, about 300kilometers of insulation tape wrapped around my brand new Suzuki KingQuad 750 ATV - so all in all a fairly expensive night. Should have taken photos... Whats more, I can't remember a thing... Just thought I'd share LOL.

I think you'd have to be prepared to take more of a $200 hit on a what is now an outdated operating system there champ. Good luck with the sale

If you were in the South Island I'd happily hand over 5k for that. If your keen to drive it down here I'll have the foldies waiting and fly you home at my cost. EDIT: If you were happy with that (IF) would you be prepared to have the coil issue fixed? Will fund the part if it wasn't over the hill in price ofcourse.
-
Yeah, I've seen it, someone mentioned it in another thread of mine. It's super tidy, credit to the owner.
-
Good result for the seller IMO $2510 no change for the past day, and it closed at that amount. By the time I shipped it down here and got that cambelt done and other bits and pieces, it would be well over 3k making it a bit over the hill, even though it's a pretty good example!

They're quite different. The gear lever is up on the steering column like a big indicator switch.

Have you driven both the ML320 and the V10 Touareg? I've had a 3.2V6 which wasn't at all that great, but not the V10, can anyone report?
-
There's few about, I have heard they are thirsty. I think this ML320 is a good tradeoff - the power delivery is like nothing I've ever had, I suggest if any of you get the chance to have a try of one just to see what I'm jumping up and down about
-
Ahahaaaa. The Land Rover broke down again this morning at the dealership FFS. They gave me this ML320 CDI for the day & I can report that it's superb, power to burn, drives like a car, the V6 Turbo diesel is soooooo quiet it's just unbelievable! - no low ratio though but I'm probably not going to have it in an off-road situation that would really require it. Once all the crap is sorted out with Ebbett's I'm 90% on that ML320, it's brilliant!

Hi Glen.@ nearly 200k it can stay on that website & I imagine that that thing would drink some serious fuel. I a fan of the diesels, I tow every weekend, we live in Dunedin, which is mostly hills & we live right at the top of Dunedin, so the torque thing is a goodie.
-
I think he meant he wrote on it, unless it was being towed by an M5?
-
I'm leaning towards the Touareg, one cash back option they have is this bad boy - the ultimate drug dealers accessory... X5 It is a V8 Petrol though and with my mileage I do with work I'd soon get sick of fueling it! It does sit tough though!
-
Seems to be a universal thing with Land Rovers. I was under the understanding that they had become alot better at their reliability after the 90's They must have been the most repaired car ever in the 90's
-
Bahaha! I don't think so!
-
Never been a fan of those Landcruisers. Odd looking things IMO. I do like that VW and they are made well I must say.
-
That does sit tough. Read there somewhere it's a 330d - quicker than a 330i
-
It was a Jap import 3.2V6 and couldn't pull a greasy sausage off a plate.
-
V10 They have That's the V10 they have, not too sure on those wheels on it... V10 Twin Turbo diesel developing 230kw & 750nm of Torque - it can tow Boeing 747 jumbo's!
-
They are nice, they pull hard too 160kw and 500nm from memory? Thats good, but the 6 speed auto puts that on the ground well, I've driven them before. The only issue is, I do do a bit of offroad work and the Touareg has low range & air suspension e.t.c. as does the LR3.

After three months of ownership of the Range Rover we've finally decided enough is enough! Small timeline.... 1st week, transmission failed - took 6 weeks to get it back Went back for a missing issue which was fixed Battery failed (flat) & was replaced after it was load tested Went in to have dash lights fixed & the electric telescopic steering column Went in again for the whole day to have a module fitted so I can tow a LED fitted trailer which they couldn't do Went in again to have the radio looked at as it would not turn on when you turned the vehicle on, yet when you were driving along it would suddenly turn on at FULL volume (it has 8 speakers and a subwoofer - rather loud!) Yesterday & today after work it wouldn't start because of a flat battery, seems to start fine in the mornings however, each time I've checked everything to make sure it was turned off Today it was a flat tyre, not the cars fault - but when it was on the hoist they commented that it was leaking oil from the turbo charger... NICE! That was the last straw, I've been on the phone and they've agreed to take the vehicle back for a refund and/or swap it for cash in either direction on a similar vehicle. There's been atleast another half a dozen things I've taken it in for, which I can't remember anyway. I use my vehicle as a work car, so I'm to and fro everywhere all day and need something dependable atleast. They're offering a VW V10 Touareg, LR3 Discovery TDV6. It's Ebbet's so it's a rather large dealership and they are trying to go through some suitable stock. I think i'ts pretty good of them, I think it has to be done, as we've just lost all confidence in the Range Rover, it's a bloody nice car to look at, drive, it's powerful, gets nearly 1000km to a tank but it's been the MOST un-reliable car I've ever owned - and you all know I've owned alot of cars... It's got a full service history, it's in very good nick, it's NZ New, it's got everything going for it but it's just a PUP! Trying to decide on a new SUV - Help!

That took twice the time it should have to read that auction description. To me text language would devalue any auction. The chap needs to head back to school.
