  1. I think 400 to change your origonal plates to kiwi ones is just a have. I'd imagine GermanPlates.com would have similar manufacturing standards yet they are over 4 times the price. Where do they get their pricing from?
  2. Brother inlaw went and said it was quite good - I had to work but would have if I got the chance! He was saying the Ferrari was actually a MR2???
  3. That car would power a small city Apex - The higher Merc equivalent is 456kw S65AMG
  4. Season 14 kicks off in England on the 15th of this month for those who are interested. It's normally available on YouTube there after. They've got the 760i V12 twin-turbo which I done a bit of checking up on and this guy pours out a colossal 406kw and 750nm 0-100 in 4.6 seconds which from memory is 0.1 of a second faster than the E60 BMW M5 - pretty astonishing stuff considering it weighs 8 small houses. FYI a British newspaper has recently reported that Fifth Gear has been discontinued...
  5. ^^^ What he said, I've sold cars that have sold for over 50k on $1 reserve and I've never been bitten yet. IMO it's a very good way to create interest in a sale. My best advise would be to advertise it fully, even home page & make it two weeks just so it can get that exposure.
  6. Hope I've understood this correctly but if you already have the blue NZ plates, I'm pretty sure you can buy the black stickers bang them overtop your blue boys and your away. You can get them from germanplates.com not sure if they have a section to provide them seperateley but I'm sure if you contacted them they will supply them.
  7. Thats unreal. I paid over 50k for mine! It's probably a repo, WOF is miles overdue & I wonder if it's been looked after in Japan too. It should go for alot more than that estimate, I think they have that low realization just to woe people in, reason I say that is because the cheapest RR on TardMe is 35k and it has 261,000km. Looks good on those RR Sport rims too. If anyone's interested in it, get a warranty, seriously!
  8. Ahhh she sold. That's a good cheap price for that car from a dealer.
  9. Makes you want to go and by a few lotto tickets! Epic garages!
  10. Dam Fords... that makes me want to sell it! I understand that it was made under Ford but was just a bit puzzled as to why half the stuff on the car has a BMW logo on it
  11. Auction is about to close but I thought that this unit was rather cheap for someone? Was listed at $11,260.00 reserve in Christchurch... Those 18's make it IMO but the colour makes it even more IMO! M325i
  12. Either or, in the back in particular there's still alot of BMW components (labelled) is what made me think it was still BM The gearbox is definetley BMW as it's been replaced.
  13. Mine was first reg here in NZ on JAN 2005 - I'm sure they would be still using BMW gear by then, the rig was probably manufactured under BMW?
  14. That 2nd link is tops mate, seems my truck isn't compatible with my version of iPhone software so I'll revert it tomorrow when I get to work and its docking station. Thanks heaps & I'll have my fingers crossed. Cheers.
  15. I've got an 05 Range Rover but I'm sure the system is virtually the same or similar to the BMW X5 so someone might be able to help? My bluetooth works fine, connects to my iPhone and will dial, ring out, ring in but as soon as I answer or someone at the other end answers it kicks me off! Some phones work ok, but to date I've tried the 3G and the 3GS iPhone and a Nokia also, they all kick me off! Very frustrating! My car also has prep for an onboard car phone so I'm wondering by the picture I've posted what phone I need and if there's a cradle I'd need? The local dealership doesn't seem to know much when it comes to this kind of thing so I thought I'd try here. They diagnosed my bluetooth module without any faults. It will work with some types of phones with bluetooth. Cheers for any help indeed!
  16. I think you'd be quite surprised on how economical BMW V8's can be. Driven nicely it should only take another half of what your 320 is using I'd say, at the most.
  17. Yeah, I'd change it for another car. It is hideous!
  18. Driver or car has some serious issues if it is chewing out every 5000km mate. Either the chap can't drive or they are towing a hell of alot or again, they just can't drive at all well. 5000km even on performance brakes is rather slight where ever you come from.
  19. Awesome, would love to hear the note from the exhaust on that straight!
  20. Certainly different, but it makes my eyes bleed unfortunately.
  21. Couple of grand atleast? That car isn't very old so I'm also wondering how it's chewed them out so quick? Or is it high k's Doesn't look like a Merc dealership in that garage LOL
  22. If it has Acer eManagement it should have a recovery disc creator. If you can find that, create the disks, run them, update the O/S using windows update, free anti-virus and your set. This will be the easiest way without having to track down drivers e.t.c.
  23. If I didn't know any better I'd say that both her SRS Airbags deployed!
  24. Hi Glen, provided your with Telecom broadband the best number to call is: 0800 116 110 Calling that number gives you a 90% chance that you will get a Kiwi on the other end. When you had the outage did you have DSL ?
