Estimating 55k I'd prefer the manual in it but not sure everyone else would (people that are interested in that type of car in NZ)
-
And resale value, no issues with radio or NAV, easier to sell e.t.c...
-
Never had a problem selling an X5! Good result.
-
My favorite E30 combination and in RED, forget M3's for me, these kitted M325i versions do it for me more in terms of looks.
-
Seems quite a lot for a import no? I'm sure I've seen similar mileaged all the toys M sport NZ New versions for the same 50-60k price mark. Because the 550i isn't as popular as say a 525i or 530i you might have to sit and wait a few months, add 550i as a watch list and have trademe email you daily on every new 550i that comes on to the market. That would be the way I'd attack it!

Nothing long distance, I did tow a 3 ton boat across town and it didn't worry the X5 at all. If I was going to be doing say 2500kg plus I probably would have went VX Landcruiser (ouch) Most I'd really do is my Polaris Ranger and 3-5 trailer loads of coal (aprox 1.5ton) But given that, towing a ton or so of coal is very hardly noticed, if I towed it with my petrol V8 commodore ute I'd pay twice the amount and it's quite noticeable. Infact if I had a 3.5ton boat (and I have had one in the past) and my X5 had a decent warranty and the X5's could tow 3.5ton legally I'd rather tow 3.5ton with the X5 than a Landcruiser. The self levelling suspension also makes things a lot nicer also. EDIT: and I'd also go as far to say that I'd rather tow my Polaris Ranger with my 320d than the ute, it tows better somehow.

I've always had the 6 speed auto on the diesels. Are they any stronger than the 5 speed auto's? I ran my old E53 facelift diesel for over a year remapped and no issues, no issues with my current one either.
-
With the X5? Dunno about Veyron figures but spoke to a guy on failbook who used to work for superchips.co.uk and they remapped and fiddled with a 160kw X5 and achieved 270kw and 850nm (which was doing 0-60mph in under mid 5 seconds) very easily and ran it for two years very hard without incident. I guess they only offer 600nm for legal and liability reasons but he said 700-750nm was very easy and they could send me the file to do it.

My X5 has been done, couldn't recommend it enough, lowers fuel consumption and 100nm more and 40kw more, but power more at the higher RPM, and somehow less lag?!?!
-
This X5 would dominate a 4.4i and be nicer to your wallet! 210kw and 440nm for the 4.4i 200kw and 600nm on this 3.0d Edit: I like other peoples sisters, you forgot to put up a pic haha. Must have her head screwed on wanting a X5!
-
And I wouldn't even bother trying haha. What ya rekon, this would be a nice edition to your garage?
-
When are they due on your showroom floor mate? Imagine these f**kers remapped!

For sale. $29,500 firm. It's a good car or I wouldn't have put it on this forum. Has had $4500 spent by me sorting an induction and turbo seal issue and service. Nothing to do on this car, it's ship shape and all the expensive maintenance issues have been sorted so it won't cost anything for some time. Visit My Website I'm wanting to move on, I'd love that 335d or even a E70

0-100 in 4.7 seconds 740nm and 280kw tri-turbo 3 litre diesel & a redline now of 5500rpm How epic! I counted 0-200 in about 18 seconds.

I've got a problem on our 320d where it's showing as a bulb at the rear is out on the dash yet it's functioning perfectly? Any ideas?
-
With those k's on it I'd imagine its a daily and what a fkn daily!!!
-
Have you had the chance to drive a remapped one yet? Never even noticed it! Looks like it has some goodies in there perhaps?
-
335d Don't think I've seen a kiwi new one of these with all the gear for this cheap... A good remapped one of these will see atleast 265kw and nearly 700nm!
-
I'd hate to think what $$$ you'd be up for by wondering into BMW and asking for a E60 M5 engine...
-
IMO it would be better if it was dropped 8km...
-
Word. I'm not aquainted with the full 100% of the facts but after that interview with Campbell Live and a bit of digging here and there IMO he's got nothing to worry about. I was also under the impression "innocent until proven guilty" yet they have seized everything prior to trial even?

They all use marmite because they've never had Tomatoes on toast or cherry tomatoes on toast no less.
