This was precisely the one I was thinking of.... (as he cries quietly into his beer) Looks like a damn nice car and I'd be all over it in a flash if I hadn't committed to my 330ci 9 months ago.

Sadly we were also tortured with Rick in the late 80's...

I personally don't see the attraction with convertibles and don't think I could own one myself. It is either too wet to have the top down, or you get a blistering sunburn in this country.... Having said this, I have always loved the Z3 shape, and that M power is a powerful incentive.

Really? I had a VR6 Golf (manual) before, and I reckon my 330ci auto is more economical (even being heavier and RWD)! Yeah - go the leather sport seats. Very comfortable.

How high were his jeans pulled up in that video?? The 80's were bad!

For me it has to be the E46 coupe or touring. The sedan is a compromise between the two with none of the benefits and I'm not a fan of the compact. I love the styling of coupe, but would go for the touring for practicality (bikes, dog etc, etc, etc). The weight of the E46 makes the 4cyl a little gutless for my liking - so the 6cyl (2.5 or 3.0) is much better. My 3 litre is pretty good on gas too - around 11 l/100km around town, and around 8 - 8.5 on the open road. And it gets up and moves when you hit the loud pedal. For $20k you could pick up a 330ci msport.... I was looking at them on trademe the other day and was horrified how much they have dropped since I got mine. Grrrr - if I had waited 6 months....

Yeah, shouldn't cost more that $20 or $30. I would suggest using a tyre shop you know & trust. You could try Tyrepower in Harris Rd - always had good service and prices there. EDIT: It may be easier if they are a dealer for that particular tyre - if they can't fix it at least they can replace it like for like without hassles getting another. It may even be covered by a road hazard warranty if they are a dealer & the tyre is near new (not sure exactly how this works though).... -
Doesn't Apex have his E30 Touring for sale? Might be old information on my part.....

Good spotting Nick.

I'd have a lurk around Trademe and try to pick a replacement up. They do come up from time to time.

Why? Some of us are muppets... Jesus - lighten up! It's the internet for gods sake! It isn't life or death.... Now a threat on a public forum is not a smart idea... I have no idea who you are, but chill out a little. Back on topic... Very nice car Ray. Looks sharp in red.

+1 Smells like a dead battery to me.

Because there is no replacement for displacement... Don't like the 350 Chev sticker and flames, but it isn't the worst application of a small block I have ever seen. I like it.

Marac or Custom Fleet although they may not want to touch used vehicles.

I don't work for Telecom but I thought they were rolling GSM out as the next network?

Who you gonna call? Wonder if the plasma guns and backpacks come with it....

How could you live with the interior? Looks like an alien was slaughtered in there!!

Try doing it in a asthmatic RHD mk2 Golf diesel (non-turbo) in France. No such thing as blasting past ferociously and made for some scary drives to work!
-
If I owned that, I would have to punch myself in the face!

I like it. Not sure why they put those rear seats in - look bloody uncomfortable if you ask me. What's the deal with LHD these days - is it still 20 years + to VIN a LHD car?
-
Mine does this too occasionally - normally if I don't press the remote button for long enough. Never the drivers door, only the passenger side. I put it down to a sticky lock but that isn't an official diagnosis... Be really interested to know what the answer is!

$6000 buys a hell of a lot of beer, and one hell of a nice bike!

WTF??? It's not a dessert! EDIT: If there is jelly in the computer, the car has much bigger problems...
