We think his name should be withheld from the public, because if BMW fans found out they would probably burn down his house. Is he a Bimmersport member?
-
I get the car back from the panel beaters on Friday 11th. and will post photos after that.It should look good as I'm colour coding the grill to the car (Cosmosschwartz).
-
My E36 goes into the paint shop next week also, but only for accident repairs. I'm sticking to the original Cosmosschwartz (metalic).

I can't remember the guy's name, (will have to see if I still have his card when I get home) but he did quote me $45.00 per guard, and he has a proper rolling machine.
-
There is a guy in Auckland who does tinting and guard rolling. $45.00 a guard. I can't remember his name but it should be in the yellow pages. He is mobile. He tinted my car and did an excellent job, I just wish I had used him to roll my guards, but that's another story.

That put's an extra $200.00 on to the price.
-
That is a damned good buy.

The reasons for the drop in used car sales is due to a lot more than the problems with finance companies. The first reason is this Labour Govts stupid decision to deregulate the motor vehicle industry. This has allowed a lot of shonky dealers and "fly by nighters" into the industry. Secondly, the international credit crunch. There is a lot less disposable income available for car buyers. Thirdly is the finance companies. With so many of them going into receivership, the remaining finance companies are getting very selective about any new customers that they take on. Fourthly is the rising cost of fuel. Many people are wanting to trade in their big gas guzzlers for small ecconomical cars, and as a dealer, I am getting swamped with large cars, so, if I have to trade a large gas guzzler, then I want to trade at a very low price because I will probably have to hold on to the big car for a long time. This makes it unecconomical for the purchaser. This is the worst I have seen this industry since the '87 crash.

Too late, the plugs have been changed for the original ones off my car, and the carton they came in has been destroyed.
-
That's true. I brought a pair for my coupe, but unfortunately they came off a left hand drive car.
-
Would you sell the M3 mirrors seperately? If so, then how much?
-
What a bummer. I just paid $399.00 for a set of "Black Crystal" angel eyes for my E36 coupe.
-
I am running 18" x 8.5" rims with 225x40x18's on the front and 255x35x18's on the rear. That's on an E36 coupe, mind you I had to flare the rear guards to fit them in.

If you read the M5 forum that I posted, you will get a fair idea as to why.

Check this site out. It's an M5 forum in the US . http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/archive/i...php/t-2076.html

Why not? I already had an all chrome grill and I think they look great. What did they cost? Grill $130.00 Lights inc. indicators $599.00
-
Thanks everyone for your help. I have found the lights and the grill both at Carspot in Hamilton. Mentioned I was a member of bimmersport and got them at a kickarse price too
-
Have tried Braxtons already but although they have angel eyes, they don't have them for the coupe

Also as I stated, this is an insurance claim, and as such the panelbeaterhas to check that the parts are correct before paying for them. At Trade Me you have to pay for the parts before you get them. I just want to operate normal business procedure, order the parts, check that they are correct, then pay for them.
-
Read my post I had an accident and I want the car back soon, not in 3-4 weeks
-
Sorry but I can get no response from your web site and if I use it as a link I only go to Trade Me home page.I need these parts urgently as I recently had an accident in my car and the panel beater need the parts to complete the job. I thought I had the parts through a member here, however he wants the cash before I even get the parts, and there is no way I will pay for items that I can't check out first. This is an insurance claim, and the parts will have to be sent to the panelbeater who will pay for them (if they are correct) then he will invoice the insurance company.

Mod of TM "Mod's Motors" fame is selling e36 m3
briancol replied to bravo's topic in TradeMe discussions
It might be reasonably cheap, but it only has the 3 ltr. motor, not the more desireable Evolution 3.2 ltr.
