classic... someone sent one of those boycott messages to our junk distribution list (so most of firm got the message). Of course people forwarded onto external people. Idiots forgot to realise that we represent most of the oil firms and our emails have our branding on them. Morons.

that'd be Tim.... legalise it!!!I'm being screwed from both ends. Was a National supporter in the past, but with me being what I am, my family would shoot me if I voted for them... well, at least my extended family..

of course!

Hassle ?!?!Where's the hassle in taking ten minutes to set up and Ebay and a Paypal account and saving yourself some serious money ? I cant count how much Ive saved myself over the years. trust me... I know plenty of people who are too scared to use any international sites. Me personally would rather scour every nook and cranny for a reasonable deal, hence why I personally use Ebay. And you are right, its not a hassle, but we are interdweeb saavy people who are down with the play.
-
yea, but how many people can be a55ed going through the whole ebay thing. At least the risk is moved from the buyer to the seller if M325i's goods don't come through. That's business people, while it may seem more expensive, at least some-one who doesn't want the hassle of Ebay accounts, international buying etc etc etc can get someone else to do it. What about parallel importers? Surely they throw their margins on top of it as well? They are also just the middleman like anyone else.

I was very greatful for the offroad tips Gus... lucky Blair was not riding in the boot that time! although i'm sure he will have been quietly happy about the situation at hand. Primera power!!I don't hate much.. I'm a lover, not a hater.

From Shelly BMW, Retail minus 10% for being a BMWCC member. The E36 ones look the part I reckon.
-
Delphin Metalic. mmm.. I like Interlagos Blue as well.

I bought an E36 gearnob and the gaiter boot for $80 from Dealer. I think it was only $30-$40 for nob. Leather was more expensive but you needed to buy the numbers seperately ($25).

jacque villeneuve changes gears on one paddle whereas most the other F1 drivers use two paddles..

A momo came on the FD RX7 i'm currently building as a race car, it's got the squarish bottom, and it's a Momo. Similar to that pic, but different colour and metal spokes instead of covered in that plastic/rubber. I was refering more to the un-symetrical shape, not the flat bottom. Please show me any Momo wheel that even mildy resembles this one. I'm just trying to point out that this isnt the real deal. I wouldnt want anyone getting cognitive dissonance. Momo haha cognitive dissonance.. i remember that from my marketing papers... what was it again? buying something then regretting later....Definately a fake momo. You can tell from the shape and the overall quality. I think there should also be a manufacturing number on there as well which would prove authenticity. Generally look at the Momo catalogue as nothing much has changed apart from discontinuation of the woodgrain wheels and horn buttons etc. Good luck with the sale though! Still looks good. PS. Hate to rain on your parade, but the fake ones are only worth $50-$70 brand new, including the boss kit in some instances. TradeMe linkage

Yeah classic, along with LL Cool J. I like all types of music, depends on what mood I'm in. Anything from PinkFloyd to Dido to Outcast, U2 and Boney M to Rage against the machine etc etc... What I don't like is the bullshat American ghetto culture that our youth blindly follow. Hmmm must try that Darkside/Wizard of Oz thing. Saw the Wizard of OZ with the Darkside of the Moon played over the top.. saw it at the Embassy... very interesting.. they gave us a couple of sheets of A4 with all the coincidences in it. Some of it was laughable, but very trippy at the end of the day.. I can never watch Wizard of Oz the same again.

Beastie Boys.. seen them twice now. De la Soul.. seen them bad boys in Melbourne Also like Roots Manuva, LL Cool J, Method Man & Redman, NAS, some of Pharoahe Monch. Prefer my rock more, including all those sub-genres of rock (Not pop rock tho!!!). Also like some electronica as well. Shy FX, MC Scibadee, Andy C, DJ Hype, DJ Craze.. blah blah.. I really enjoy most music

Not I, but I have seen a red E34 5 series with Canterbury Crusaders supporters stickers all over it.. will get a photo one day if I see it again.. Has flags on it, and random crusaders stickers on every square inch of the car...

I'd like to say performance, but the way the penny has dropped (in terms of me buying the car of Mum) I've ended up with a 2litre. No qualms in my purchase though, but it aint the performance car that I would like it to be. In saying that, I like a comfortable, clean, and straight car to drive. No rustbucket with non-OEM (looking) parts hanging off the side of it.

I have, a pc, PS2, and Xbox. PC is the winner for me, mainly because it's easy to use a mouse and keyboard I find. PS2 has some kickass games tho. I'd agree with the others.. wait till the next gen consoles are released on the market. PSP is alright too, my mate bought one a couple of months ago.

boys, girls, and Carl I have a mate who's after a review on a 2001 Audi RS4. Can anyone point me in what would be a very good review website. Anyone come across any? or any decent websites that do car reviews? Many thanks.

Tim is the man   Burnouts are now a possibilty with my car... no crappy random gear changings for me... ooohhh yea.. the 5spd kicks ass. Was quite a relatively good conversion.. Started late on the Sat with the removal of the exhaust, heatsheilds, diff, then Tim had to drop some skirt off in Wellington.. Took out the old clunky auto gearbox (those things are heavy) the flywheel, torque convertor (heavy as well) etc. The flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, spigot bearing, and release bearing went in next. Then we decided to bust a few brews, and get totally smashed.. Feel sorry for the people's property that Tim destroyed on the way home from the pub! Poor gardens will never look the same in Palmy. Too hungover the next day we finally got up at midday... gearbox was in straight away with no problems. Pedal box in quick time. Diff. Then came the nightmare..... some retard decided it'd be a good idea to fuk the thread on the master cylinder (end that connects to the clutchlines) arggghhh!!!! Tim wasn't a happy chappy which was fair enufff. After a few hours of trying everything and numerous calls to Hartage/Ian, Tim managed to stop the leak that i had caused from stuffing the thread  Bled the clutch. Was no resistance, so had air pockets in line, so after talking to Ian pressurised the air out by pumping the clutch three times, holding clutch down while Tim opened the bleed valve on the slave cylinder. Did this a few times, and managed to bleed the clutch successfully. Threw heatsheilds and exhaust back on, then walla. Tim took the car out for a test drive... sheesh it was fun, hooning the outskirts of palmy... A couple of parts were missing such as wiring for the reverse lights, and the rubber bit that covers the hole where the gearshift comes through. All in all, a very successful and fun weekend. Thanks to Tim for a great learning experience, and for showing me it is possible to drink copious amounts of alcohol is less than a couple of hours. Big ups to Ian as well, the vast fountain of knowledge that he is. How mcuh did it cost you man? i want to do burnouts too !! I think next year i will bite the bullet, splash out and do it, where there is a will there is a way, sucks that i have next to no tools or a garage or anyone i know is a mechanic!!!! Can cost around $1,000 - $2,000 depending on where you source the parts, and if you replace worn parts before throwing the box in. ie. the gear selector knuckle.Definately worthwhile!

We are talking about E30s in this instance not E36s. 215/40 R17 were recommended by a tyre manufacturer for my 7.5 rims. Would maybe get serious rubbing for anything wider maybe?
-
I've got 215/40 R17 tyres on my car. 7.5 wheels. I don't get rubbage on my tyres, although I managed to wear out the insides of my rear tyres, although they did last 30,000kms. Depending on quality, you could pay anything from $160+ per tyre. Can you get 18"s for E30s??!? My 17's were hard enough to find to tell you the truth = rare IMO.
