Yes I saw that. But the post said it was taken from e30zone which is a uk forum. Different weather conditions... Nz obviously doesn't have winters as cold. Also it doesn't have a guide for other cars such as e39 etc Also it states the oil grade but not brands. It would be helpful to know which brands are available where etc. Eg. Castrol at supercheapautos for around $85 for 5w30. And $99 for the 0w40. Etc

Before I begin. I would like to say that yes I have used the search function, I have read the threads, I have googled and looked at 20+ forums and web pages. First question is what is the "best" oil for a 330i m54 engine? Or what is the oil that bmw uses? What grade and/or brand. I am thinking to change to castrol edge 5w30. Also considered the 0w40 but don't think it's necessary (may be wrong) I also want to make either this or another thread the definitive guide to which grade of engine oil is suitable for whichever car. I guess most owners of cars may know but new or first time bmw buyers may benefit.

Got 600km to a tank on a trip to the mount including city driving. But usually around 500kms to a tank that costs $130 to fill. It's not bad for a 3L

It's just normal black interior with carbon trim and suede fabric seats. Nothing special i will post some proper photos soon. Have a few things I want to do on the car aesthetically as soon as I get the engine oil and transmission fluid done. Seems to be in very good condition. One owner since imported 6 years ago. Just under 130kms, did a trip from Auckland to the mount and was a great ride no issues. Yay!

just got the E34! a bit rough around the edges but overall in goodshape, body is good paint job is good, interior needs some attention, runs well and will be my weekend drive/project car. here are some quick pics ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- update! blacked out the grilles (painted them originally but broke the clips so bought some matte black ones, bmw badges using black vinyl cut out into pizza slices, 330i badge using plastidip, side indicators tinted using VHT niteshade tint spray and rear taillights using the same tint spray for the white parts installed the angel eyes, turned out they werent the right fit but made it work i think it looks okay, might have to pick up some proper fitting ones later but these only cost me $40 so im not complaining! *something else i did was instead of buying the euro spec plate holders and having gaps on the sides, i took off the plates and cut off the bottom 1/3 of the jap spec plate holder plastic bit. then drilled new holes on the plates and screwed it on a bit higher, i think it looks cleaner this way and its not difficult, doesnt cost anything really need to get some tints to get past this hot summer! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- after selling my e36 msport coupe and then buying a daily driver (318ti now for sale LINK HERE) I picked up this 330i sedan.. was originally looking for a coupe for months but decided to go with the sedan and have absolutely no regrets about it! here are some photos from a weekend trip to the mount

I have for sale a set of genuine ACS mags in 16x7.5 They were painted matte black by previous owner Fitted with GT Radial Champiro 128 tyres 205/55/16 Tyres have 90% tread on them. The white is nice, good price as well but I don't like facelift on coupes. But I do like FL on sedans. Picky, I know. Blue one is cheap for what it is but really looking for msport, same for the red one. I wouldn't spend more than $15k on a e46 unless it was an m3!! I've looked at every single bmw on Trademe between 2000-2004, Sedans and coupes, I saved about 5 on watch list. Nothing amazing though. Really leaning to the e36 at this stage.

I had a e46 328ci years ago, then most recently the e36 in my signature. Been looking for a 330ci 2000-2003 pre fl, msport, suede seats, sunroof, multifunction, and most importantly not silver! But haven't found anything good yet. Came across a tidy e36 323i coupe and very tempted to get that instead. I know it's my personal choice at the end but what's everyone's thoughts? Wait it out for a nice E46 or go with the e36? Edit: currently no car as my temporary 318ti had gearbox issues. (will look at selling this as is if anyone interested)
