  1. last nite i parked near viaduct.. it was a space too big for 2 and a very tight squeeze for 3.. luckily for me, the car at the back and middle were close together so i somehow managed to parallel into the front spot. the guy in the middle left after a while, and i noticed someone about to try and park. ( i was at a little bar from which i could see my car, just incase something happens) the car that left tho.. was a tiny little hatchback, and the new car tryna park was a bloody stationwagon. i literally jumped up (leaving the gf behind at the bar) and ran to my car, after 6 tries the person miraculously managed to fit the car in (with the help of my moving my car forward an inch) and i returned to my chocolate dessert and a bewildered gf. (also, i wrote down the number plates of both those cars just incase i spotted anything later on) yes, im a psychopath but i would go nuts if any1 'bumped' my car
  2. Photos didnt come out too well but heres a couple..
  3. hahaha, i always keep an eye out for other bimmers but neva seem to find any i actually know.. and i dont suck on lollipops >_>
  4. a quick phone pic. planning a photoshoot with my friend tomorrow if the weather permits. edit: other photo wouldnt work, still not working o well
  5. il just stick with standard ones no point tryna draw more attention than necessary
  6. i picked up a set of german plates the [D*] in blue ones off trademe a while back. but its all white!! no fonts or any kind of letters on it. i was thinking of printing my letters off in the nz regulation font (whatever it is) in vinyl and then sticking it on the "empty" plates. i wonder how that will go.. also i spotted a e30 a few days ago with the nz euro plates and a normal plate cut out real thin, just around the letters and stuck on top of the euro plates. lol

    E36

i think alot of ppl have the misconception that higher CC or bigger L cars eat more fuel.. but it basically just depends on the way you drive. obviously a 328 would have more power and faster response when you need it whereas a 318/320 would have to work 'harder' hence use more fuel.
  11. T_T germanplaaates i waaant I found an old pic of my very old e36 back in the days of 2004-5?
  12. sorry about double post, but just a question.. german plates legal to be put cars for the nz road? eg.
  13. quick update, debadged grill painted black extra photo (p.s. excuse the damaged plates, im just in the middle of getting some new plates made now ) Also, does any1 have a good way to attached the plates on the back? mine has that really lame looking plate holder and without it i cant screw it on.. i want to use double sided tape or something.. OH and to any1 that needs to take out the kidney grill for whatever reason, dont mess around with screw drivers and try to pry it out.. just punch the grill and it will literally just pop out without any damage.. well thats what i did anyway haha

    The Dirty 30

damn, this is one sick e30. i wud totally buy one if there were any decent ones in the market and i didnt settle for a e36 but o well. absolutely beautiful, love the 'stance' and how the lip on the mags match the window trim
  15. Exhaust came with the car haha so not too sure about the cost, its not very loud but has a great low rumble to it which i love heres a quick picture with the new plates on
  16. i dont really wana make my car just another fake m3 haha but mite consider if i can find some m3 side mirrors to go with it btw the wheels r actually gunmetal grey not silver XD

  20. oh just incase you guys havent noticed, its not for the e46 in my sig its a e36 1997 323i coupe motorsport. the aircon control thing is not the turning dial ones but the electric ones with the lil screen similar to the e46 ones
  21. it doesnt work with the directional buttons nor the button that u press to defog, the one that puts the fans on full blast
  22. The aircon is working and heater also however the vents at the end of the dashboard near the windscreen dont seem to work all the other vents are working but without this, i cant defog the windscreen which is a pain with this changing weather in auckland. please help!
  23. never really liked green cars nor cream leather interiors but thats just personal preference. However, it would be hard to come across a decent bmw in dunedin i think? no? i think 5k is a bit pricy but a straight swap sounds alright. just make sure the engine is in good cond, well i guess u cudnt tell by just looking/listening, but be weary. U said that guy is super keen, why wud he let go of a perfectly fine bmw in such a trade, i wonder..
  24. Ive has a 99 e46 328ci (as in my signature) for 2 years without any major issues while i had it around 140-180k's and also a 2000 e46 328ci NZ new for a year or so with no problems either. seems to be fine to me but im no expert either. ive looked at trademe and there seems to be a number of decent 328ci's around year 99, 2000, priced around the 14-17k mark just a matter of having a look in person, get a feel of how it drives and go from there. that being said, when i test drove a 02 e46 facelift 330i motorsport sedan, it was a whole different feeling. something from a different world compared to the ones i had b4. but prices go anywhere around the 20k mark so...
