  4. +1, A lot of people think I paid 10-15k for the e34 lol...
  5. Dry weather for extended periods followed by rain is always a bit hariy. Throw shitty tyres on a big car and the equation gets even tougher. Sorry to hear chief.

  9. http://maps.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/aucklandcouncilviewer/ - awesome tool If you can put up with the smell and lack of space at rush hour the train is OK... I hate public transport but some people don't mind. There's a lot of free car parking 5 minutes walk from Newmarket if you get here early enough. I start work on broadway at 7am and never have trouble finding a (free) park Otherwise earlybird caparking is $7 - get around birds shitting on your car everyday... Avoid the motorways at all costs!!!!!!
  10. if it was just the cops I wouldn't mind so much - it's the speed cameras that get me... so unsporting

farkin tidy! Love the kit, wheels and all the small touches you've made
  13. I only run 95. Tyres are Bridgestone Potenza G3 (predecessor to the re001 i believe) @ 34psi I have the early m50 - so no vanos Manual box does make a hugee difference - no doubt.
  14. I Cleaned the ICV out today. What a huge difference that has made - car is running the best it has since I've owned it. In doing so I also managed to identify 2-3 serious vaccuum leaks that will explain the fuel consumption.... so time well spent. The ICV clean took much less time than I expected so I went and bought some new plugs to occupy the rest of the afternoon. I somehow managed to break one of the coil pack connectors.... so now the old girl is running the worst it has since I've owned it. That also means I have to take the train to work for the next few days until I can get it running on 6 cylinders again Will be interesting to see if the cleaner ICV does anything for fuel consumption or if that will only improve when I get the hoses/intake replaced
  15. If they dont sell in the next couple of weeks I will be very keen Need to free up some cash!

  19. Seems it's only a problem north of the bridge... too many cops and not enough meth there
  20. I have to do the control arm bushes too - been avoiding it for months Try Darren (forum sponsor) for some new rotors. The price he gave me for a set was sublime - barely more than you'd pay for a skim. Free shipping within Auckland too I think! http://www.nzad.co.nz/
  21. Probably all good questions to be asking Mercury mate
