  1. Looks like a chinese copy of a c63 amg
  2. I'd give you more for it if it was manual
  3. 8500rpm!? What kind of work is involved to get the m50 to handle that ? Can't wait to see this
  4. No way I would be paying 17k... especially with that list of problems. Even 15k is very marginal. Much better value here IMO: http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-629126381.htm Sure it's not a 330i but the 328 is only down 20nm so there's not a lot of useable difference between the two. Spend the 8k you save on maintenance/tidying it up.
  5. +Hi mate. Spend as much money on a well maintained, low km, nz new car. Basically do the opposite of what I did haha. I got my e34 very cheap and its mint on the exterior and interior but it's overdue a LOT of maintenance which will cost into the thousands if/when I commit to it all... Including: All shocks/springs $500+ Numerous bushings and suspension components $500+ Transmission $500-$1000 Windscreen wiper mechanism $? Power steering pump $? Fan blower motor, resistor and cabin filter $200+ Brake rotors $140+/pair Rear electric window regulators $100 each Those costs are just for the parts. Labour at workshops isn't cheap so it pays to have a bit of DIY skill ... And the list grows each week. no.1 avoid the jappas if you can. The Jatco box they came WILL need to be replaced at some. Demand to test drive a Jap car cold and you'll experience the horrendous jatco jerk I put up with each morning. From what I've seen transmissions are one of the more expensive/harder to come by parts for this reason. Apart from transmissions I don't think parts are particularly hard to come by. A bucketload of e34s left the factory and there are plenty of parts cars still out there. Cant go wrong with a well looked after, nz new, low km example. 218km is fine if its been well looked after. What spec is the car? 525i?
  6. The paint on my 250+km e34 is better than what that 1M's started out as haha

  8. Thanks mate. You should put some pics up of your cars (if you haven't already). I'm a huge fan of the e28. In the next year I'm looking to replace: *Control arm bushes, *Cabin fan blower motor + resistor *Front brake rotors *All shocks/springs *Power steering pump *Transmission (the jatco jerk is starting to annoy the sh*t out of me) So there's a bit of cash I need to find for that lot before I get to work on cosmetic bits like new wheels. I'm replacing the thermostat this weekend... should cut down fuel use of 18l/100km I'm getting in Auckland traffic right now
  9. GL mate. Have sent the link to my old man who's been humming and haaaing over one of these for years. On to an e92 already!.. Good bonus this year then haha?
  10. Very nice . The //M coloured kidney grill is so damn cool. What aspect of the n54 causes the intakes to get like that? Where's the picture showing the new wheels !?
  11. Best looking car they've made in the last decade! ... Yeah I just said that
  12. Nice, very tidy. The v8 deserves a manlier exhaust tip though .
  13. Do you have a blower motor to suit the e34?

    98 Octane

My apologies. I interpreted your OP as reverse refining 91 fuel into 98 for double the profit . It is ridiculous how significantly 91 outsells all other grades here. Why buy the red stuff when same sh*t comes out of the green pump for 10c cheaper.....
  18. What a beast. Am I the only one that thinks that bile interior is foul?.... Phoenix yellow can safely step aside as BMW's biggest atrocity

  22. I'm after a few bits off this slab. (shotgun transmission) Anyone interested in chipping in and getting some parts off it? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=615624175
