$100 to fix a dent in the back of the car, front panels re-sprayed and a few chips taken out on the 318i when I got it.... I think I'll avoid Auckland for panelbeating.... Regarding the colour matching - I think it looks hot as. Do it.

Rear centre console in good nick? If so, PM thanks
-
That mans on the money right there.
-
After watching the rally on channel 3izzle I also noted the wheels looks mighty similar to the oz racing ones... Thinking about putting "BMW Motorsport" on them
-
Nice, A touch of persia.

I just had one of my door cards off last weekend to fix my seized (from not being used in 5 weeks) window motor. Fixed by putting an allen key in the manual door winder bit, giving it a few turns.. assisting the window up. Then lubricating the runners with graphite powder which the bits that hold the glass slide up on. I'm not sure if you can just remove the motor then use the manual connection as I didn't need to take the motor out. Going on Greame's post (who seems to know what he's on about) I don't think you can.

Thanks, The wheels from the blue won't fit over the front calipers on the white one (just realised after I had put the two back ones on....) they are only 14" weaves. 15" New weaves on the wishlist.

Thought I'd throw this up for some comments, Just tyre kicking at the moment on what to do on these things to make the appearance a bit nicer.. I'd love some clear sidemarkers, anywhere in NZ where you can purchase these?
-
Approximately for how much could you make one of these for? - They seem to be a fairly disposable part... Nail a opossum and thier history!May be keen on a "iS" style one if you could make it depending on the price of course (Finances sorted next week for the people I've been in contact with, will get in touch then)
-
Yeah.. The extra weight or something
-
I've never noticed the similarities between the E30 dash area and the E36 ones. Cars looking good, whats the first mod you're going to do when you get it?
-
I'll second what petone said regarding the performance between the 318i and the 320i, the jump between 318i and 325i is the real performance jump. Don't be too hard on the 318i's, they aren't _that_ slow.

Reminds me of my 86' 318i for $1800. Paint absolutely oxidised to hell - quick cut and polish and it's near perfect + removal of seat covers to reveal sport seats And like me, you didn't take any before pics A nice drop works wonders on pre-facelift e30's - Helps hide the nasty spare tyre well... (ooo Just noticed, you're in CHCH as well.... Excellent... Starting to build up a contingent down here)
-
I can live with the front and sides of that car - I see them as a step up in the evolution ring. But as for the back... It looks nice from one angle until you see the big "tack-on" boot which completely ruins it. You'd think BMW of all companys would make the boot as low-profile as possible.

LHD may suck, but would driving a genuine E30 M3 suck?
-
How much work can you do yourself?

Welcome to the forums. Give it some time and you won't touch a Japanese car ever again Ti's are fun.
-
BTW - I've got dealer hookups on a few models, I'll be able to get you one wholesale (PM me)

Lose the exhaust, Keep the Alpinas and do what Martyn said Your car looks damn good now, please don't go sticking some advanti's on it
-
Very hard to find them - hence the price...
-
Someones been to DCH recently.... Nice race kitted M325i out there aswell. New twinpipe exhaust getting put on there tommorow over the nasty 4.5" terroriser.
-
Nice good to see another 325i in the region in an enthusiast hands. You go cruising much Fri/Sat nights? Have to meet up sometime - I'll bring my '25.

I was trying to be subtle Looks like sh*t, don't touch Baby blue? People will laugh at you.
