It's the Fairlane LTD, they are discontinuing. Holden are doing the same with the Statesman. I'm keen to see a Fairlane to 10.21l/100km. It'd do it at a constant 110kph, but nowhere else.

I'd not be too upset having those cars in my garage. I had a look at the Maserati Grandsport yesterday. It is definitely hot.

Bought new by Den, sold to me, in 2002.

I've just been advised that I don't need to be at the golf until 1500. So, given enough notice, I could probably get somewhere tomorrow morning. Cheers Cain

Very nice. Looks great.

Any day, but Tuesday is good for me to get ours out. I have a customer golf tournament on Tuesday and will be in no state to drive anywhere.

A fair few of those aren't at Wellington. But it is rated as one of the 10 most difficult airports in the world to land at. I've had plenty of terrifying flights in and out of there. Thankfully the Beech 1900 (19 seats) that I took from the to Blenheim yesterday was smooth. Had Helen Clark with us too.

Farewell Jochen. Enjoy being closer to home again.

To believe the Torque curve, it needs to be done in a gear that is 1:1, or you need to convert that figure by whatever ratio it is out by.
-
Well done. I'll bet that it will be fun to drive too.

I'm running Mintex 1166 pads (on an E34). They definitely generate less dust than the OEM Pagids and when you track the car hard, they don't fade anywhere near as quickly. When I need to replace them, I will probably do it again. They have given great life. I seriously doubt that you need bigger brakes (unless you are planning a big jump in power). 3pedals is correct, for day to day driving the OEM setup is pretty good. I am unsure (as I'm too lazy) whether any of the forum sponsors do pads. But talk to them if they do, otherwise go to 0800racebrakes. Better tyres will enhance your braking more than bigger brakes, and will stick in corners better.

No, it's not a rumour. They are also clamping on windtunnel time and limiting teams to only one wind tunnel. As to new teams, they are trying to get the top teams to supply customer cars to the lower echelon to reduce development costs.

Stick with the OEM rotors and get proper pads for it. A much better option.

iPod Touch. Spend the extra on the 16GB. I've nearly filled the 8GB. Never had one before. Am thinking of buying the Sister-in-law a Red Nano for Christmas. Haven't had time to go and compare it to the Touch.

Welcome. Not many around that colour are there?

I'd love to see that have a drag race against a 147GTA. Torque steer central!

Looks nice. Hopefully you'll get to the meeting on Wednesday with it.

And I was just thinking this morning, that I'd call and see when was good to swap cars and see if Deb wanted one.
