My standard spoiler had been silconed to the bootlid, maybe try a knife underneath between the lid and the spoiler, failing that try turps I say (or silcone disolver if yours has suffered the same fate.

Also in relation to Blair's post, I am not bothering with german plates on the new car since I know of so many more people getting caught..mine are on my wall too maybe just put the standard plates on and grin and bear it?

I had a m40 facelift 91 316i...which is the same motor essentially as the 318i..the sump will be identical im pretty sure, someone with more knowledge enter *here*

Also have a bootlid with mint bootspoiler, just been resprayed so no dents.... just paint in the color of your choice, if your keen you can pick it up along with the disc'd rear end And I have a mint bonnet with one dent in the front...can have it for cheap if you want...nothing a little bog can't fix, pm me if you want those when you reply about the rear end. I have some cheap 15 x 7 wheels that are not perfect, have been repainted with a spray can, one has a nasty curb but looking for around 300 for them, good for a race car were on my old e30 race car. Pm me if your interested and for pics. The wheels are 4 x 100, Offset I think is +15 - Nathan
