Asap. Ideally as cheap as possible. Don't care about the paint condition as long as it has no rust as my current one does. Between Wellington to Palmerston Nth is prefered. Cheers, Nathan

Seen this in Wellington driven around quite a bit. It is awesome.

Ultra Racing Strut Braces/Chassis braces/Sway bars
Forrest replied to AAP Imports's topic in For Sale
Here is mine fitted to a e30. Fits great, only had to remove one of the screws that were moulded into the strut tower on the LHS and twist the clutch reservoir around to get under the brace. I spaced the brace over the moulds with some small washers on each of the strut bolts. Added my own touch of originality Got a rear brace too but didn't bother putting a sticker on because it is hidden. Thanks to Adam for organising the group buy, much appreciated. -
I agree with Bravo, does seem far to thin for a 20/25 year old car. I use 15w40 also.

This looks good man, ignore the haters in the other thread, I like people that go against the grain. I don't know if I have ever seen a RB30 in a E30 before? Could be very cool, especially if you go get RIPS to build your motor just worry the most about the rust in the E30 if you think it could be good, have a good look in the usual places, footwells, boot, behind tail lights/tailgate etc and underneath. Only saying this as I found a hole about the size of a 50c piece in the floor of my car last week from rust. Best of luck with it all.

Car looks amazing Andrew, your doing a great job. I am glad you waited for the Alpina's and didn't buy my wheels. I am sure your enjoying the extra punch of the 2.5. Keep up the good work.

^ Nah I sold them to another member, a few places do them mainly overseas. A few of the suspension fan boys can point you in the right direction.

My dad has a Fraser Clubman he built himself. 4AGE motor out of a corona/corolla taxi, had done 300k, bit of a tidy up and threw it in with a W50 (Supra???) gearbox with a De Dion live axle. Still runs drum braked rears and and escort fronts with repco pads and semi good road tyres. Was a total budget build maximum bang for buck. Making about 120hp, weighing in at 500 -550kg, so power to weight of a V8 falcodore. So he brought the kit (the total DIY version, Fraser do all the variants up to a customer built car), took him roughly a year of a few nights a week and during the weekend, works out about 1000 man hours I think. In current trim it does 'about' 1.29's at Manfield, so on pace roughly with the faster of the E30 series field. I have driven it at a few track days and it is a blast, about 457579494 times more fun than the e30, just like a go cart and the acceleration, even for a 16v 1.6 is something else. With the Frasers, they have a strong club base with heaps of meets and emails etc and a big annual track day at Taupo each year that I have been to before. If you wanted to build one I am pretty sure Neil Fraser scrutinizes each car so they need to be brought back complete to Auckland for rego etc (this was the case with my Dads car). I could talk for ages, if you need any help/advice/questions just pm me and I will pass them onto my Dad/try answer myself. Cheers, Nathan Oh and a pic for inspiration

OOOOOOOOO semi's thats what she said
-
Nope its just the final component I need before I start doing track sprints in it properly.
-
^ Yeap forgot to mention I will do that also along with the belts.
-
Wasn't sure where to put this. Looking into in the future putting a 6pt harness in my E30 coupe with no cage. In order for me to run a fixed back seat, I assume I have to make the rear seat inoperable i.e take seat belts out. Does this mean I will need a cert for taking the rear seatbelts out? As I am hoping to get away without one as an authority card will cover the harnesses.

This guy obviously has more money than sense.

Literally is my dream car, in the right color, on the exact style wheels. It is a shame this isn't for sale in 10 years time.... "Hey Dad can I borrow 65k?" Good luck with the sale it looks absolutely perfect, hope you get what you want for it

Bump. $65 each side for PFL Foglights complete, with mint glass and a spare mint left hand glass, help fund my car getting back on the road!

http://yhst-59326584023620.stores.yahoo.net/ Brought a leather motorsport gearknob off bimmerbum a while back. The guy that runs the online site is a total one man band, from collating orders to packing it himself from his warehouse. Had been recommended to use the site from Nick021 and thought I would let other members know about it. Had some problems as I couldn't receive his emails, sorted it through paypal, but he is a really nice honest guy and sells quality OEM products. If you are looking for a few bits and bobs for your BMW, especially gearknobs and don't want to pay stealer prices, get in while the dollar is still reasonably strong. This one cost me about $110 to my door with a week and a half of wait once he had stock in. Result:
