^ Michael just needs the links + the metal mounts, he has the rubber insert mounts and the bar (I only know this cause I sold him the bar).

Slow day is it Glenn?

What about something like Irwin Quik Grips and twist? They have rubber jaws and wouldn't scratch the cap. http://www.irwin.com/irwin/consumer/jhtml/...IrwinProd100029 If you have some lying around I guess, I use them all the time when gluing stuff, but I am sure they would work LOL.

If that is the look your going for, you def need my borbets

Although it is PFL, with my Alpina one, I drilled holes in a spare valance I massacred, on the sides and put bolt and a nyloc nut through the lip and tightened them together, had two holes each side of the car and two in the middle/front. I have a pic somehere. Edit: Teh Grammerz

I am about to leave New World after 3 years, proud you managed to last 4 Brook. I am also out of uni in 3 weeks and need a replacement job as I want to hit my boss over the head with a E30 driveshaft, saw in the paper hits on Student Job Search are up like 33% on other years, f**k having no jobs around.

Not a fan. As Heath said looks like it is missing some body kit + has hideous wheels on it for that color.

Great photos, I will have to take my car out there sometime soon.

^ For your Fog Lights, to protect them, use clear OHP Transpearancy Paper (like most had at school on overhead projectors), about $2 a A4 sheet from most book shops, just cut to fit and tape it (hiding the tape) and you wouldn't know it is there. Worked for me, and is cheaper than a adhesive sticker cover.

^ I am not sure at this stage, still toying with the idea of selling it to my dad and coming back to build a proper track car (which is what I really want) once I can afford to. I only know of a very few people that manage to build a car (especially a track car) on a supermarket wage working part time whilst studying full time, it is just too much. The last 18 months essentially all my funds have gone into a e30 of some sort, including student loan money really want to take my gf to Australia next year, have a crack at my debut marathon at the New York Marathon for my 21st etc etc so sort of time to start living life again instead of a underneath a 25 year old tempermental pile of bolts. Haha Personally I would rather come back when I have graduated earning a 100k salary and can afford build my Alpine White Widebodied Space Framed S54 E30 Race Car

Bit of an update, been thinking about selling this for a while, at this stage it is going to have the motor drama diagnosed then will sit in a storage unit over the summer. Having no money is a bitch.

I have Subway about twice a week and think it is awesome. Noodle Canteen is really good as well. Don't eat any of the others, not so good for a full time runner
-
Really nice car, love it, love those french hi's thought about doing that to my old e30. Do think it needs smoked front indicators instead of clear though, but each to their own.

I had been thinking about asking for a DIY/How to Section of the forum for a while, but judging from the posts above by the mods etc it doesn't look like a viable option. I vote for stickying some DIY threads, but maybe lock them also so others can't put worthless sh*t in them (i.e Shady etc), anything that people seem interested to do. IMO at the end of the day if someone does something illegal to their car i.e tint tailights its the car owners problem, but in the forum rules it does say bimmersport doesn't condone illegal modifications so fair enough to not support such things. Also, posts like the aformentioned from Shady and some others on here are exactly why I don't post much on here anymore, this forum is slowly becoming full of muppets and whingers.

^ Yeah I will look into Martyn's contact, I more than likely won't be buying any motor till probably January....what is the best way to determine if the motor has ASC? Year/model number??? Is it the later production run M52's?

Troy/anyone else: - What do I need in regards to a throttle cable? I have heard E30 ones work, but I see Mark used a E34 one in his. - Considering my car will be used on the track I guess I better booster would be in order, I.E e32 set up. - My car has the later (non plate) shifter so that is not a problem. - Gearbox mounts? I see some people use E21 mounts as they are stronger? - My car had ABS but it has been disconnected, and I have the OBC with the CODE function yes. - M50 is the more realistic option at the moment if I can find one cheap enough.
-
About $400 a corner retail (I think), mine were suitably less than that though.
-
If you could keep an ear out for one that cheap ish that you know of again, I would personally come up and grab it. Obviously from the people I have talked to with M5x E30's the gains over an old M20 are big enough regardless of displacement.

^^ Thanks Ryan G, much appreciated.

Calling Luke (Boost Junky), I know you have truckloads.....
