You buy the faces off ebay, trade me etc and just take the cluster apart and stick them over the top of your OEM instruments. BMW made the gauges orange for a reason...it is the best color for being easy on your eyes at night time IIRC.

So with my imminent state of unemployment (cheers Studylink) after uni exams in two weeks, I need to find a way to fund life i.e modifying the e30 fund, until I find a summer job. Before I got into cars I used to spend all my money on CD's, I hated downloading as I would rather have the actual CD there in front of me. So I have 110+ mostly rock/metal CD's, including many rare ones and complete sets of albums that artists have ever released. Before I sell em on trade me/real groovy/on here if anyone wants any??, I wanted to know how many people on here still go to the store/trade me/blah and buy a cd for it's full price, and whether it is worth my time trying to shift them. Had the same thing on mine. Cleaned AFM + AFM sensor, replaced intake boot, checked all other hoses for cracks + tightened hose clamps, cleaned ICV with carb cleaner. It fixed it.

I am semi tempted to compress the rear springs...the front is perfect height, any lower and the tyre will cut into the top of the guard. Just need to drop the rear a little, is about 15mm higher than the front. I just used the Duplicolor Fabric/Vinyl stuff, about 4 light mist coats and it looks mint, was only $16 a can, like anything if you be patient it will look mint. BTW Oli, I don't really want to go any lower, you remember my driveway...it bites. Also, the car is about 105mm at the chassis rails, any lower and I won't be able to get my jack under it!

Labour Weekend/E30 TLC/Study Procrastination: - Brought a E32 7 Series Booster + Master Cylinder and Reservoir to improve my brakes - $30. Deal of the century? Will be installed after exams, then the reservoir moved when the m50 goes in I love pick a part. - Fitted a E36 Washer Bottle as I took out the headlight washers and didn't need an extra bottle. - Dyed Parcel Tray black + Dyed Front Carpeted Speaker Covers also. - Started measuring up an improved air box. - Started massaging my front guards again after an unfortunate driveway entry - Tried to work out how to fit foglights also. PITA

Me also. Gave the E30 some TLC, make up for no study tomorrow.

It is just about too perfect.
