-

-
i had a blown headgasket with NO symptoms other than a misfire for maybe 5 seconds after start up...it eventually started using a litre of coolant in 3 or 4 days....still no classic signs ie milk shake oil or oil in coolant
-
yep i have cd 43 and ipod adapter still sitting in a box...
-
the overall diameter of the tyres is supposed to be the same ,but obviusly when you lower a car/run wider wheels/tyres you may run into other fitment issues.
-
i was told that while the BMWCC collect data on cars not much is done with it.Too many people dont keep the club up to date with the latest aquisition/disposal

A NZ new 1991 car wouldnt have had a cat .....Exhaust mod on its own prolly wont give you any performance increase, but you may save some weight ,and have some potential if you increase the breathing of the engine. Cats wouldnt have been available until leaded petrol was phased out which was 1996

prolly some one read se as sc

we bought a new one last year...not the basic one so they have multiple air bags etc.....I HONESTLY WOULD GET ONE FOR A LITTLE ROUND TOWN CAR.They are the best little japper!
-
up to 12 from 16 aint bad....overpriced ?
-
rear fogs are at least as bright as brake lights.....the worst experience i had was following a peugot or renault for a while along a dark narrow windy road she had ALL her lights on.I honestly think people just put all the switches on.In the end i just pulled over and stopped for a few minutes. The lights were blindingly bright
-
PROPER front fogs should not dazzle or annoy at all. They are a wide beam light and should be pointing low. This obviuosly escapes the attention of the f**kwits with commodores etc with DRIVING LIGHTS mounted in the fron bumper.I think proper fog lights are a BETTER alternanative to driving with headlights on in the day time. And for the recordi dont think we should make headlights on the stndard,as motorcyclists will lose the advantage they have in trying to gain conspicuity.zrear fog lights are good only in a real thick fog.

prolly listed it as a manual6 because they cant/didnt want to list it as "auto7".
-
late model suzuki swift the higher spec model has multiple air bags.amazing ride for a wee car.try oneAuto will be ok as long as you dont have to negotiate hills
-
as long as you have the proper hubcentric rings running e 39 wheels wont be an issue. The shimmy is not compulsory.Good tyres, good wheels and good bushings means you wont have one.

255/40x17 is the correct size to match 235 45 17
-
235/45 17 on 17x8 et20 front and 255/40 on same rims on back.(when i first got the car) changed to 235 45 17 all round. My car with "sports suspension settings" chpos out outside of front and inside of rears, and the fronts twice as fast as the backs,so half way through their life they go on the back ON THE SAME side.If you have different sizes its not as flexible when rotating and repairing.... 235 45 17 on 17x8.5.et 15 feels exactly the same as above set up.Gotta keep wheels balanced and when the fronts get worn you could get teh shimmy..... you give me a number

this poll is seriuosly flawed.....all chocolates FTW,there are no losers in my book.I hate you fussy pricks who pick through chocolates to find your favourites.Just HTFU and pick any one.

has always been thus.....what is the alternative?

i always ask them to make sure the nuts can be undone with the car wheel nut spanner. If not i find that 90 kg worth of kick gets em undone. You need boots to try that trick tho...
-
does that mean that you can do software updates etc Glenn on the newer cars?
