seems to be missing the mtech rear bumper cover otherwise looks good...seats not far away from cracking up tho......mine are still all good .I thought the m5 and aussie 540 le were the only auto levelling rear sus models.Spose it could have been an extra

my BBS were absolutely caked with brake dust on the back....I spayed them with wheel cleaner left as per direction and scrubbed with an old hard nylon brush,....rinse,repeat,repeat...ended up using a whole bottle on four wheels, each wheel took at least four goes before i got them clean

a mate had a 3.8 S type....likea mk 2 but longer in the boot,we did 100 mph UP ngauranga gorge...was a vey quiet unassuming type ,but he was a luntatic in a cor or on a bike, crashed lots but never hurt himself!

prolly showing my age here but i wanted a mk2 3.6 w od and wire wheels. The row of switches on the dash had a lasting effect.I love busy looking dashes ever since which prolly explains why i love the "presence" of my e34...there more buttons and swithes than i have fingers,n maybe toees too!
-
prolly a bit of a "in betwwen" car too....I would look for a 528 530 or 540... but thats me...
-
at our picnic/show and shine,e 30s were nearly outnumbered by E 39,s!Alas only one e34,a humble 535is
-
the cluthes may not actually be as robust as they could be but not 20 k=gone. If you "abuse" them i think you could wear them out quicly,as the M5 is a heavy car with lots of grip anf lots of torque.
-
better to be safe than sorry....esp for business computers
-
if you need to replace the clutch every 20 ks,you dont deserve an M5,or you are caning it from every start and dont care that the clutch wont last.Go to E39 m5 .com...
-
the car is completely as represented,it is a almost imaculate, completely original car, with only two owners. It drives very very nicely. It would in my opinion one of the best (if not the best e28?) in the country

be aware the e 39 has an odd wheel spec. The offset is shared with just about every mid/large sized BMW ie 5,6,7 8 series ie about 20mm,but the hub diameter is 74.1 mm as opposed to the 72.5mm for the others. The M5 had 18 inch wheels but its up to you really. As long as you stick with the same overall width and dia overall tyre diameter) i cant see you will go wrong.Check your cooling system is up to scratch, isa slight weakness in the V8 ie hoses, pump thermo and rad must all be good -
if you have no luck let me know,I have a mate in that industry
