hmmm from my experience if you spin an e34 just about everything else will be very easy to spin...my car has rear end grip i still cant beleive after 6 years of ownership(except on wet grass of course).Lsd and 235 tyres might help of course...my first was many moons ago in a lj 2 door torana...crested a rise at night to be confronted with a pair of headlights on my side of the road.A swerve to the left had us in the shoulder gravel,which apparently was a left right left right left righ zig zag i regained control somehow,I dont remember how many times we zigzagged.I thought it was only once but my mates in the car said no way...

hmm will it be as nice as a 5 series....will cerainly go well enough!

no the 3.0 six is a very nice engine and like most non M bmw engines they have good torque...esp in a lighter car.Try a e39 530 if you get the chance,in fact try Allan on this forum he may be looking at selling his

cooling system(radiator,hoses water pump and thermostat),front control arm bushings,squeaky door seals,pixels fail in cluster display.Coil packs fail ussually from leaking valve cover gaskets(oil fills up spark plug holes),misfires can be caused by failed cats(BMW price 2500 per side).. lots of info on the web,but you can often get the wrong impression...only the cars that have problem are seen .,not the thousands and thousnads that dont

on a slightly less esoteric note...i was astounded that a 911 derivative....was $199,000 second hand...couple of weeks later was $179 000.Wasnt a gt2 or gt3

if you just mean the indicators i think its a programmeable thing...dealer only or may be jochens software can do it too

i know but the kit you are looking at has ballasts

hid = high intensity(and voltage) gas discharge which yours should be cos you have the ballasts xenon = bluish halogen often interchanged but they are NOT the same the proper hids have a module whereby the headlights are adjusting ALL the time to prevent glare for others.... hid kits are often just rebased hid bulbs into housings originally meant for halogens,

as always the overall condition of the car is your best guide.....if you think there is something wrong with it..make your adjustment to the price accordingly and stick to it..If you say you WONT bid unless you can get it checked they might let you make other arrangemnts?

imports are good prices of course...but they have decimated the resale value of all cars....when i bought my 535 6 years ago for 16 i thoought it was good value,and that the price was pretty much bottomed out but the value has dropped so much its not even worth selling.....prolly would struggle to get 6 for it
