havent seen many 530,s...my favourite trademe search only shows bmw manual cars over 2500cc
-
i would love a manual one,but the msport seats arent that common on the e 39..even some of the 540 m sports dont have em,my experience any way
-
the vanos came in late 99 i think..vanos ones are even gruntier than the non vanos and the 4.4 is heaps gruntier than a 530...I honestly think with half sensible driving the 540 wouldnt be too much thirstier than the 530...if economy is a concern get a 528 or 530..you may even find some 528 manuals...
-
in some ways though it is all routine stuff,if overdue...hopefully car is still basically sound.Welcome Graham(and Hello Bruce!)

isnt "ex germany" applicable to most all of our cars....except the SA ones of course?Still dont know which market it was for
-
yes...Aussie got the LE which was in lots of ways an m5 sans the s38,we got the 540is which was a high specced 540 manual I dont think they had throwings stars or the edc
-
we never got the 3.8 m5 here...nor diid aussie,i think those two facts are related! The M5 was very expensive in its day,the 3.8 even more so
-
doesnt do it for me either...but all credit to the team...

-
your chances of winning are as discussed...but you have to do another setr of sums...becuase all the lemmings rush out and buy more and more tickets as the pool goes up there must a bigger chance of you having to share the winnings....mind you i wouldnt mind sharing 24 - 30 mil...we normally buy one ticket with the same numbers and add the power ball.....or sometimes a lucky dip with power ball added....

Thank you to all who gave me advice on E34s

they are not the cheapest by a long shot...but i beleive they do a very good job..last time i was so impressed i took them a dozen beers.....they let me help them drink half of them!
-
same as any other car....clutch gone, gearbox gone, headgasket gone/going....that would be the value of the car at retail rates....maybe a few electrical issues as well??All of these can be checked out of course!
-
where did the car come from?If its a UK car and you have the vin you may be able to find out from the UK agent....cant recall thir name right now...but a badge means absolulely nothing...if it was truly a schnitzer i would have bet there would have been some proof accompanying the car...even then the actual level of modification can be absolutely minimal.

wanted e34 front bumper lip spoiler. mtech type at a guess.
kiwi535 replied to 323e30's topic in Want to buy
thats the later "mtech version" the early one is like this its more than just a lip tho,it goes up to the underside of the bumper itself -
some nice E28s there...Glad you have tracked down NA535....never did see it down here....Hope those ribbons didnt do any paint work damage...I used my car as a wediing car once, was quite a long drive from the Church to the reception and the ribbon scuffed up the paint quite a bit......
