  2. I dont think I can help, but I am intrigued with the "it worked for a while then I started continuing" No changes during the initial working phase? What does started continuing mean?

    X5 Offroading?

His point is that an x5 is NOT an off roader, and I cant actually beleive anyone actually believes they are.As for an 1980 landrover I reckon they would get stuck on the first slippery "cross axle" obstacle they strike.

    X5 Offroading?

You already know that most of these things are bought for 7 seats "command" driving position "safety" Because the far more suitable people movers are regarded as loser cruisers The manufacturers are laughing all the way to the bank when Mrs John Lunchbox buys a flash hilux for over 100 k

    X5 Offroading?

    But landrovers are ok?
  6. Never get flashed, but I can tell people dont like being in front and to the left of me
  7. Straight behind and ahead are the "safest places" its off to the side ,and as you say crests etc.i can see the auto levelling working all the time and everytime you turn the lights on they seem to flip up and down
  8. I am no electrical expert but thats my take on his warning
  9. I have factory hids in the 120,self levelling and washers.I am aware at times that I upset other drivers. An example is when you are in the outside lane of a multi lane road. There is a lot of light out to the left,i can see I illuminate the reflectorized signs on the left from miles away albeit with a cutof. Hids are not safe for other drivers period. They sure nice to drive behind though, and ultra visible at all times of the day
  10. 11500 for bimmersporters.Dont be put of by the diesel, once its rolling its quite quick, nice steering, nice brakes, some nice options too

    X5 Offroading?

Yep anything with a bit more clearance than my bmw would be fine, and prolly for the rainbow too
  15. Understand that.i was referring to earlier times when carphones first appeared.I beleive you could have the same vodaphone number, that if the carphone was active it would ring, but if thr carphone was off your brick would ring

    X5 Offroading?

Molesworth is no more than a narrow gravel road, rainbow covers more rugged country with a road that gets less maintenance I would have no qualms about taking an x5 through there. The little creeks can rise very quickly and you can have a blocked road or big soft shingle fans if it rains hard, the fords can be much more challengingNot surprised to hear they both manuals,is the pajero a 2.8 diesel or a petrol?
  17. Tell that to the people in central otago
  18. Drive one.any b30 will tell you what you want to know
  19. My gearbox has an infinite number of shift tables;-)
  20. is that the one where if you near the car it would ring the car but if you away from the car your mobile rings?
  21. 3.07?that would be pretty good for your revs at open road speeds. My 535 had 3. 64 I think(msport),was a bit revvy at 100ks 2250 from mwmory

    X5 Offroading?

This is interesting,i am glad that my opinion on prados is mirrored.i hate the way they drive, and the price of them is astronomical,100k for a flash hilux!.is the pajero manual 3pedals?
  23. dont go to a exhaust place to cut the bumper then. You probably should ask where is a good panel shop?
